Sodo - Accident

You gripped the steering wheel as pure rage washed over you. You had to put your phone down to not smash it. A picture of Sodo with a girl in a hoodie that covered most of her face, only allowing her black lipstick covered lips and blue tipped hair to be seen. She had her head rested on Sodo's shoulder while he was showing her something on his phone. They were both smiling, and he had his arm draped over her shoulder. You quickly pulled up the church, slamming the door shut as you got out. You quickly slipped inside of the church. It was dark, yet the halls were lit from small candles along the side. You walked down a couple corridors till you got to the wing where the ghouls lived. You didn't even bother knocking as you burst into his room. He jumped with a yelp as he sat up in bed.

"What the hell is your deal!" He growled.

"I should ask you the same." You glared, slamming his door.

"What the fuck!" He growled again, getting out of bed.

"Who the hell is she?" You said, tossing him your phone. He glanced at it before his red eyes glowed. He walker closer to you while glaring at you.

"Seems like the 2 week work assignment Sister sent you on made you forget about something." He scoffed.

"Don't scoff at me, you cheating piece of shit!" You yelled as you pushed his shoulders, shoving him against the wall and onto the floor. He only growled at you before quickly getting up, grabbing you and pushing you harshly into a chair.

"Maybe, just maybe, you can think and remember when I told you my niece was going to be joining us for a couple months. She is slightly new to the ghoul way of life, and I offered since I was a family member of hers." He growled, his tail lashing with anger as he stared down at you. You looked up at him in total silence for multiple seconds.

"Why would I cheat on you Y/n? After all we have been through?" He said, crossing his arms, finally stepping back, still glaring down at you. You looked away as tears pricked your eyes. You didn't say a word as you quickly got up, grabbing your phone and ran out his room. As you reached the end of the corridor, you heard him call out to you. You ignored him, running back to the door and running out. You opened your car door, climbing in and starting it. You started pulling out of the driveway. Sodo quickly ran in front of your car, pushing his claws against the hood as if even his extra demon strength could stop it. You slammed the breaks, letting out a small sob as you watched him walk over to the driver's door. He opened it, quickly reaching past you and shutting the car off.

"Come on. Get out." He said calmly. You slowly got out, unable to look at him.

"I'm sorry." You could only whisper. He grabbed your arm gently and pulled you back into the church and back go his room without saying a word. He shut is door calmly behind him once you both entered his room.
"Your welcome to sleep on the couch tonight." He said before turning and crawling back in bed. He turned his back to you, letting out an exhale. You stood there for several seconds before walking over to the dresser, grabbing leggings and one of your shirts. You changed right there then walked over and sat on the couch. You stared into the fireplace that some bright and smoldering coals. You couldn't help the tears that welled in your eyes. How could you have been so stupid to think he could have cheated on you. You sniffled, trying to make as little noise as possible. You heard him throw back the covers and the bed creak as he crawled out. You continued staring at the fire, unable to look at him as he sat on the couch beside you.

"I understand you could have forgotten since you were so busy. I probably would have too." He said after a few silent seconds.

"I'm so sorry. I can't believe I did that. I'm a horrible girlfriend. I'm so sorry." You leaned forward, burying your face into your hands as your shoulder shook. You felt him rest a claw on your back, rubbing up and down.

"Your not a horrible girlfriend. You just went with your gut. It's okay. I forgive you." He said as he pulled you against him. You wrapped your arms tightly around him as you cried into his shoulder.

"I also wouldn't have let you sleep on the couch. I would have moved you to bed once you fell asleep." He spoke quietly into your ear.

"Thanks." You whispered. "I feel so horrible." You sniffled.

"It's okay. Don't be. It was just a misunderstanding, that's all." He said as he pressed a kiss to your forehead. You held him tight, breathing in his scent once your nose had cleared. He gently picked you up, laying you on the bed beside him. He used the sleeve of his long shirt to wipe away your tears.

"I love you, okay? And I would never cheat on you." He said as he gripped your chin. You nodded softly, sucking in a breath as Sodo pushed his lips against yours for a long and passionate kiss.
