Sodo - Arthritis

Reader with arthritis because I want to.

After a long day, all you wanted to do was take a long and very hot shower. Your ankles were killing you, your arthritis flaring up quickly in your back and shoulders as well. You finished your last chore before slowly walking back to your room. You entered and didn't bother looking around as you tugged off your jacket. You hissed slightly as you pulled off your one boot. 

"You good there?" You jumped, seeing Sodo walking around the bed. 

"I'm fine." You sighed, looking back to Sodo. 

"Arthritis?" Sodo asked, hearing a meek whimper as you pulled off your other boot. 

"Everything fucking hurts." You mumbled, leaning against the wall, which didn't help the back and shoulder pains. 

"Awe, come here." Sodo cooed, pulling you into his arms. You relaxed against him, resting your forehead against his shoulder. 

"Go get a shower, and then I'll give you a massage, alright?" Sodo said with a small smile. 

"Alright." You agreed. You wanted nothing more than to let your fire ghoul wash you and be close against you, helping you relax and wind down after the long and hard day. Sodo led you into the bathroom and turned the shower on, making sure it would be warm for you when you get in. 

"Let me do this." He offered, starting to unbutton your shirt. You closed your eyes, allowing him to undress you. Once he finished helping you out of your pants, he motioned for you to get in the shower. You stepped in, sighing at the hot water against your back. You closed your eyes, having your moment as the water seemed to wash the day down the drain. You smiled, feeling Sodo's warm hands on your waist, moving you back a step so you could wet your hair. He lathered shampoo against your scalp in soft movements, his tail resting around your leg limply. 

"Feeling any better?" He asked, rinsing the soap from your hair. 

"Much. Thank you." You sighed, finally opening your eyes. 

"Anything for you, angel." He purred, leaning in and pressing a kiss to your lips. You sighed, allowing him to brush you away into a dreamlike state as he put in conditioner and then washed you gently. Once he was done, he helped you get pants on and comb out your hair before laying you down on the bed. He laid beside you on his side as you laid on your stomach, not wearing anything on your upper half to give him more access to your back and shoulders. He pressed his thumbs and fingers into a part of your back, making you groan. He cranked up his heat, pressing them against you further. 

"How's that feel?" Sodo purred, making you sigh. 

"Amazing. Fucking amazing." You groan. relaxing as he rubbed his fingers over the spot before moving up to your shoulders. You allowed him to continue working his heat into you, making you sigh. 

"Now how do you feel?" He asked as you turned over, grabbing his hoodie from wear you put it and pulling it on. 

"My ankles still kind of hurt." You smiled up at him with pleading eyes, making him chuckle. 

"Of course." He purred moving down the bed and rubbing his thumbs over the inside of your ankles. You smiled, closing your eyes once more. 

"And how about now?" He asked, seeing you almost falling asleep. 

"Get your ass up and cuddle me." You mumbled with a yawn. He only chuckled, coming back up beside you and taking you into his arms with a gentle touch. He started purring softly in your ear, moving his warm hand under your hoodie and rubbing your back. You melted into his touch, feeling the pain disappear with the days stress and worries.
