There are lots of omegas in the Theerapanyakul family. In fact, since Porchay joined the family it seems like omegas started pouring out of the woodwork or something. There is also more joy, more affection, more family since the introduction of Porsche and Porchay to the Theerapanyakul family. However, Porchay Porchay Kittisawat Theerapanyakul was not to be taken for granted when it came to omegas who would go full-on bat shit crazy if you did something to someone he loved. It was for that very reason, Kan would wish he had never set foot back on Thai soil.

Over the course of twenty-hours following the birth of Chay's adorable nephew Mangkorn, Pete and Vegas had allowed their daughter to spend the night with her cousins at Kim's penthouse. The penthouse, under full family control, was the home Kim and Porchay had returned to early in their marriage after Honey was born. Even though Korn had protested at first, he had eventually relented to the demand, their reasoning being that with the amount of time spent at the Main Family compound for work it was just nice to have a space all their own for their little family. What doesn't bare mentioning almost is the fact that the entire high-rise is now under family control. Every floor houses the extended families of body guards, multiple units of guards themselves, several contract agents that Kim and Vegas are particularly fond of using, Kim's new private studio, the offices of Chay's foundation for omega welfare, and a second armory . All of these are carefully hidden behind layers of cyber security created by Macau, which creates the illusion of an innocuous high-rise filled with the super rich who simply valued their privacy a little too much.

Kan having been in Singapore for so long and having never really placed that much concern on the facade of legitimacy or the idea of appearing innocent while being the deadliest person in the room. It was honestly why he had underestimated his sons so much. Vegas, in his father's estimation, had always been failure because he did defer to overt brutality when dealing with his work as the second family heir. What Kan saw as weakness however, Vegas—now with the help of his omega husband Pete—were almost to be feared more that the first family themselves. It went by tacit agreement within their world that Pete's surrogate family was the first family and there was no-one that the omega was more protective of than his own husband and children followed by any member of the first family. Kan had forgotten this, or perhaps he simply had too much arrogance to believe that his fuck-up of an alpha son could ever successfully run the business and maintain it. It was this arrogance that would forever spell the doom for Kuhn Kan Theerapanyakul.

In the wee hours of the morning, Kan with two of his best guards slipped undetected into the Kim's compound. Making their way up to the penthouse without every catching the eye of anyone. Clearly assuming that the high-rise was under the same amount of security it had received when Kim was living alone away from the family. He was banking on the fact that his nephew was called out of town to deal with a shipping issue with some of their product so the penthouse should be an easy sweep. Slipping into the penthouse has been a little harder, requiring his guard Titan to hack into Kim's keypad and bypass the biometrics, but still Kan was almost arrogantly pleased with the ease of breaking in. Leaving the other guards at the door, he made his way into the penthouse and toward the guest rooms having been there years before when Korn choose the place for his youngest son.He was banking on the fact that his nephew was called out of town to deal with a shipping issue with some of their product so the penthouse should be an easy sweep. All of these actions seemed to telegraph to Kan that he was clearly the superior leader, clearly the alpha not to be meddled with, clearly the one who should head the first family instead of his disgusting alpha nephew who didn't have the decency to even marry an omega. No, Kan was was so focused on his own perceived superiority he forgot to consider that the omegas in his family might actually be the most dangerous members of all.
