Jess and Rory walked throughout town after getting icecream. Rory looked curiously at Jess wandering what exactly was on his mind as she had done plenty before.
"Whatcha staring at?" Jess asked before getting a bite of his icecream.
"You," she paused. "What's on your mind?"
"Come sit down." He said as the two plopped down, sitting on the grass in the middle of town. A lot of memories had been built in this town for Rory and Jess. "So, what I'm about to tell you is really confusing and weird and I'm asking you in advance to just bear with me on this." He looked down as he set his icecream aside. Rory nodded and Jess began. "Apparently, when I was born, my father had another child born in the same hospital from a different woman. That's why he left my mom, but that's not all. I was switched with the other kid." Rory stared at Jess in awe.
"You were switched at birth?"
"Yes."
"With your half-sibling?"
"Yes."
"Liz isn't your mother?"
"Nope,"
"Which means Luke isn't your uncle."
"No."
She hugged him tight, sympathetically.
"On the bright side we wont be cousins." Rory gave a small smile which he returned.
"I'm here if you need to talk." She said.
If only Jess knew what whirlwind of drama he was yet to be thrown into.
