CHAPTER 4

=== A M A R A ===

I woke up energetic the next day. I wore my gym attire and hopped on my bicycle freshly delivered last night. It had a basket at the back which I specifically requested.

The visitors or members seemed to love using cars in the club but being in Amsterdam for a long time will make anyone love cycling around. The air is cool kaya hindi ako masyadong pinagpapawisan. Even the plants and trees I see along the way are a sight.

Nang makarating ako sa gym ay may nakasabay akong lalaki na palabas rin ng sasakyan. 

"Welcome to the club."

Tumingin ako sa paligid para masigurado na ako ang tinutukoy nito. He looked at me which should mean he really is talking to me.

"Amaranth right? But you go by Amara."

Alanganin akong tumango. "Uhh...yes. How did you know..."

He extended his hand. "I'm Winter. The club's security director. Everybody going in and out of the club goes through me."

I smiled. He is good looking. Toned body...muscular arms... Meron bang pangit sa lugar na ito?

"I work out well if that's what you're thinking. I own this gym. Come, I'll show you around."

"Uh...okay."

Tinuro nito sa akin ang mga amenities ng gym. It looked small on the outside but it was very spacious on the inside. Hindi rin amoy kulob o pawis ang loob. The restroom and shower rooms were squeaky clean too.

Magpapaalam na sana ako nang may maalala ako.

"Uh...sabi mo kilala mo lahat ng pumapasok at lumalabas sa club di ba?"

"Yup."

"Do you know this member who goes by Chael?"

He nodded. "Yeah. He owns Greenhouse. He usually strolls around. You might score a date if you are lucky. He has a very distinct silver hair. You won't miss him."

SIiver hair...now where did I see that...I'm sure I saw someone with a silver hair...

Nang tumimo sa isip ko kung saan ko nakita ay natuwa ako pero nainis din kaagad. The devil knew I was talking shit about him! And he was freaking enjoying it! Did he think I can't say that to his face? I can say that even if I knew it was him. I'm not a weak shit who can't confront a person.

"I see you have seen him. Not the usual reaction I see on most women though."

"Well I'm not most women, Winter. Or Sir Winter is it?"

"Call me whatever."

"That bastard had the nerve to make fun of me."

"Hmm...I would love to see you both in one place. Interesting..." Winter smirked as he walked away.

Ibinuhos ko sa pag-exercise ang frustration ko. Kapag nakita ko talaga iyon!

As I got home and showered, I received a message from Waldo.

Event: Valentine's Day

Type: Formal/Black-tie

# of Pax: 100 

Location: Wallflower Pavilion

Caterer: Greenhouse

Well...well..well...look at what we have here.

Valentine's is in 14 days. Kahit na gusto kong makita at sakalin ang Chael na iyon ay gusto ko pa ring maganda ang kalalabasan ng unang proyekto ko rito. I have to work with him and his restaurant.
