=== A M A R A ===

My hands were shaking when I grabbed my bike. I am still shocked from the kiss that Chael gave me. The energy I have to give just to make it look like I am unaffected. I don't want to date him. That I'm sure.

I am not a virgin. I've had boyfriends. I've had sex with them. Hindi naman ako gutom sa laman if you know what I mean. I'm not desperate to date. Especially from the point Chael and I started in.

I'm here to venture on something in my career. That's my priority.

I rode to my flower shop and opened it. I also drafted a job posting for two helpers here.

"Hi!"

Lumingon ako sa boses na narinig ko at may nakita akong babaeng nakatunghay sa akin.

"Hi...?"

"Oh, I'm Marceline."

Tumango ako. Siya pala iyung isang ka-roommate nila Doc Luna at Tabi.

"Amara."

"I own the boutique in the club. Not sure kung nabanggit na nila Tabi sa iyo."

"They have...."

"Do you have something to wear for the ball already? I'm booked actually but I give special prices for first timers."

"Hmmm...may mga nadala naman akong evening gowns..."

"I also give a special one for free for my friends."

"Kasama na ba ako sa friends mo?"

She smiled and nodded. "My roommates like you and they are a good judge of character so..."

"Pwede naman ako dumaan sa boutique mo mamaya. May mga kailangan lang akong ayusin dito."

"Sure thing! Nice meeting you!"

As soon as she was out of sight, I immediately googled her name. I knew she looked familiar.

Marceline Irabagon or Marceline, owns House of Marseille, one of the leading luxury brands in Europe and Americas. She is currently expanding her market in the Asian continent primarily her home country, the Philippines. She is the adopted daughter of famous designer Frances Blanchet.

Hmm...big time pala si Marceline. I even like her designs. Her designs have a distinct look but at the same time, her line adapts to the place where they are released. Her pop-up shops in the Philippines are attracting fashionista from all over Asia.

Like I promised, I went to her boutique right after.

"You came!" Masayang sabi nito.

She looked like a typical tailor. She had measuring tapes all over her shoulders. Her boutique was beautiful. Her clothes are displayed like books in a library.

"A promise is a promise."

"The first time I saw you, I already had designs in my mind."

"Ang galing naman. Where did you learn to design?"

"I learned it from my maman. Uhm...my mother. Although she said I knew how to sew already when she met me, so she just taught me some techniques and stuff."
