As the little lady walked out of herself of my restaurant, she looked at the greenhouse again before exiting the door.

While I was looking at Amara earlier, I could see in her eyes the glee as she was looking at the plants. Our interaction in the office brought a smile to my face.

She's feisty all right. Not my cup of tea.

I usually get a different reaction from women whenever I flirt with them. But Amara, she's different. She actually looked almost disgusted by me which puzzles me.

Now she really got me thinking why can't she like me. What's more important is why the hell do I care if she likes me.

I shook my head and grabbed myself a glass of whiskey.

I knew she had something when I first talked to her. I was thinking when I could meet her again. I didn't know it will be this fast.

I smiled to my self. This is the first time I look forward and excited to be working with someone in a long time.

I wiped my hands as we just finished the cleaning. I feel so tired from the dinner service today. I glanced at my watch and saw that it is already 11 in the evening. I got on my car and drove home. I just want to sleep right now.

I stopped on my tracks when I saw who was waiting for me on my porch.

"Amara." That came out bubblier that usual. Heck I am tired I didn't know where that energy came from.

"Shouldn't you be tired from the restaurant?"

"I know. I should be. Which brings me to my question, why are you here at this time?"

"I just got off from the flower shop and I thought I'd come by to give you what I came up with. I did realize it was getting late and I'll just drop by tomorrow. But here you are looking so....tired. You better get some rest, man."

"You're here anyway. We can look it up now."

"You sure?"

I opened up my door and let her in.

I noticed her looking around. I don't know if its the chef in me but I want my place clean. In the kitchen everything should be clean.

"Your place is tidy hmmm. That's a first for guy."

"How many houses of men have you been to?"

"Hey, I know what that question means. I have a guy who is almost like my brother. His place is messy as hell. Yours is...clean by a long mile."

"Thanks?"

Nilapag nito ang mga menu at kapiraso ng mga papel doon sa mesa ko.

"I suggest that you go through that in the morning. You better rest up."

"I can go through it now."

I sat on the floor and read her notes. Napangiti ako nang makita ang notes nito. It had colorful scribbles in it.

"Hey those colors mean something okay."

She began explaining things that I don't seem to understand. I was getting groggy and sleepy. I was starting to drift in and out of sleep I knew it.

The next thing I knew is waking up on my bed. I was still in my work clothes but I felt pain somewhere in my body.

Nang kapain ko ang ulo ko ay may nakapa akong bukol doon.
