=== A M A R A ===

After spending some days in Amsterdam with just Chael and I, we grew to know each other more. Know the basic information about each other that we weren't able to know when we met. I can feel our relationship grow stronger each day.

Now that we are on our way back to Versailles, we are excited to share the good news to our friends.

"Are you excited to go back?" Tanong sa akin ni Chael habang nasa eroplano kami.

"I'm always excited. That club is my second home, you know?"

"I know."

Napatingin ako sa flight attendant na lumapit sa amin para i-serve and mga drinks namin. Napansin ko ang malagkit na titig nito sa katabi kong patay malisya.

"Babe, our food is here na." Malandi kong sabi kay Chael. His brows knotted as if asking me what I'm doing.

Nginitian ko ang FA. "Sorry ha, bagong engaged kasi kami kaya alam mo na, sweet pa."

Alanganin namang ngumiti ang FA at mabilis na binigay ang pagkain namin.

Chael gave me a blank stare. "Really?"

I nodded while munching on a fruit.

"It is part of her job to smile and be courteous, babe."

"Eh bakit ikaw lang nginingitian?"

"Because she was serving my food. Ikaw naman isusunod niya."

I pouted.

"Stop giving me that look. Kagatin ko iyan."

Hinampas ko ito ng mahina. "Hoyyyyy may makarinig sa iyo....."

He just smirked at me while we ate our food.

We opted to use the chopper to the club para hindi na kami mapagod sa biyahe.

"I'll check the restaurant first." Paalam nito sa akin.

"Yup. I'll meet with Marceline and the ladies. You can grab some drink with the guys if you want."

"I don't want to go home drunk."

"Sabi ko inom. Hindi laklak. Bakit sawi ka ba? Nagsisisi ka na bang pakasalan ako?"

He embraced me tightly. Too tight for comfort. "Are you on your period? Why are you so grumpy?"

"You should know. We did a quickie remember?" Yes...ang mahalay kong fiancee ay naging mapangahas sa biyahe namin.

"Why are you so cranky?"

"Hindi naman ah."

Lumayo ito ng bahagya sa akin. He dropped a kiss on my forehead. "A drink or two. I need to properly worship my queen tonight."

"Sige na...mamaya tatamarin ka nanaman umalis eh."

He gave me a smack on the lips before leaving.

Hinayaan ko muna si Chael na pumunta sa restaurant nito habang ako naman ay dumiretso sa boutique ni Marceline. I texted Tabi and Doc Luna to meet us there.

Nang makarating ako roon ay nandoon na ang mga kaibigan ko.

"You look happy." Puna ni Doc Luna sa akin.

Pinakita ko sa kanila ang kamay ko at sabay-sabay kaming tumili. Oo, tulad ng mga nakikita kong maaarteng babae sa social media na tumitili. I knew that it was more like a natural reaction and something that's not rehearsed. Nakakairita lang kapag nakikita mo.

"Tell me na lumuhod siya!" Sabi ni Tabi sa akin.

I nodded. "He did."

"OMG! Where? Sa tulip fields? Sa bridge?"

"Sa isang candlelit dinner? Tell us!"

Natawa ako habang nakatingin kay Tabi and Marceline. Mga hopeless romantics kasi ang mga ito. Doc Luna was just sipping her tea while smiling.

"Sa columbarium."

Sabay-sabay natameme ang mga ito.

"What the fuck?" Tabi blurted out.

I held my hands up to tell them to wait up. I sat down and looked at them. "He did it in front of my Mom. He figured it will be the closest blessing he can get since she can't be with us personally. For me, that's more from the heart."

"Aww...."

"Who knew Chael had it in him?" Sabi ni Doc Luna.

"I know! Napakababaero pa mandin niyon. Minsan iba-iba ang babae-" Tinakpan ni Marceline ang bibig ni Tabi.

"It's all in the past now 'di ba? He's changed. Nakita naman natin iyon mula noong umalis si Amara."

"Come to think of it, he never dated anybody else since he met her. He was fucked from that day."

"I really believe na sabay kayong na-inlove. Like hindi gawain ng fubus ang ginagawa niyo eh. Ni cuddles nga dapat wala. As in fuck and run. Ganoon."

"Grabe ka naman, Tabi." Sabi ni Marceline kay Tabi.

"Totoo iyan. Sa case ng dalawang engot na ito, hindi lang sexual attraction meron sila noong una."

"Oo na! Awat na! Eto na nga magpapakasal na nga!"

Natawa silang tatlo.

"Kaya ako nandito dahil, gusto kong sa iyo ipagawa ang wedding gown ko, Marceline. At ikaw ang maid of honor ko."

"That means a lot, Amara. Of course I will accept that. I love planning stuff."

"Dito ba kayo sa club magpapakasal?"

Tumango ako. "Oo naman. We're thinking na sa Greenhouse siya gawin. After all, its where we first met."

"I remember when I married my husband. It was one of my happiest days. People made me remember and think of all the reasons not to marry him that day. But love isn't about being perfect you know. Walang perfect na relasyon. When I look him in the eye, I remember all the days he made me happy. And that's enough for me because I know I won't be experiencing that with any other. Love is all about taking risks. And you, Amara, is about to enter the biggest risk of your life. You're putting it all in once you say 'I do'." Mahabang pahayag ni Doc Luna. Hindi naman lingid sa kaalaman namin ang nangyari sa kanilang mag-asawa. Kahit gigil pa rin kay kay Doc Lake ay kitang-kita namin kung paano ito bumabawi sa asawa nito.

"It is scary. When Calhoun and I decided to cross that line between friends and more than friends, it was a gamble. Because while crossing that, I could lose both the love of my life and my bestfriend. I've been there. When I realized I couldn't keep it from him that I love him, I got scared and denied that he does love me back. I needed his reassurance and he needed mine. Now that we're married, its still the best decision I've ever made. Kaya ikaw, kapag may duda ka, pag-usapan niyo agad. Mahalagang ingatan ang tiwala sa isang relasyon."

Pareho kaming nangalumbaba ni Marceline.

"Sana all." Sabi nito.

Tinignan namin ito. "Akala ko ba may ka-something ka with someone. Hanggang ngayon hindi mo pa rin sinasabi."

"I'm enjoying what we have, okay? Baka ma-jinx eh."

"Fine. Malalaman din naman namin kung sino iyan."

"Cheers to you, Amara. Looking forward to your wedding." Nakangiting sabi ni Doc Luna sa akin.

"Sa wakas mababawasan ng isang sakit sa ulo sa club na ito! Whooo!" Pasigaw na sabi ni Tabi.

I talked to them for hours.

Hmm... I wonder what my fiancee is doing right now?
