He watched her closely, as she tenderly touched the gold rimmed lid of the box, as she ran her thumb across the soft velvet. She had not been expecting jewelry so when she saw the box, she almost died inside. Now holding the 7cm x 7cm box, she knew that it was bigger than a ring. She fought the urge to be disappointed.

She slowly opened the lid, holding her breath. The silver filigree linked bracelet sparkled like glitter in the sunlight. The clasp had a heart charm attached to it. Embellished on the front of the bracelet was 민윤기 written in small diamonds. She gasped and looked up at him, shocked.

"You like it Jagi?"

"It's breathtaking! Yoongi, this is too much." Tara exclaimed, softly smiling. She was honestly moved by the gift. "Will you put it on me?"

He motioned for her to come to him, the jacket laying across his lap and she scooted over to him. He lifted the glittering token from its holder and attached it to her wrist. "We may need to take it back and have it sized. I don't want it to get snagged."

She didn't disagree with him as she turned it round her wrist, feeling the weight of it. Seeing such a sweet gesture hanging from her wrist made her happy. Then she remembered something. "I will need to stop and get your parents a gift. If we are going tonight, then we should probably get going now."

He pressed his lips in a flat line, the corners lifted, and nodded his head. He got up and went to start the shower. The bracelet was very loose so she took it off and put it back in the box so nothing would happen to it. She was about to go to the bathroom to climb in the shower when her phone rang. She reached across the bed to the table and was surprised to see that it was her mother. She answered it quickly.

"Hey mom."

"Tara dear. How are you?"

"Fine mom. What's wrong?"

"Why would anything be wrong?"

"Because you called." Tara answered flatly. "And because it's late for you."

"No no. Nothing is wrong. I was just missing you. We don't see you on the holidays anymore."

Tara glanced towards the steam rolling out from under the door of the bathroom. "Mom I was just about to jump in the shower because I have to go out in a few minutes. Can we talk about this later please?"

"Well, I suppose so. It would be really nice to see you though. You are studying too hard over there if you can't come home sometimes."

"Yes. It's a lot of work. I will call you later." Tara clicked off the line before her mother could guilt trip her anymore. She was very good at it. The only mother she had on her mind at that moment though, was Yoongi's mother, and what in the world could she buy for the lady of the Min household.

Yoongi was about to open the shower door and yell for her when he heard the outer door open and shut. "What took so long Jagi? Did you change your mind about coffee?"

"No sweetheart. My mother called."

"You didn't want to talk to her?"

"No, not that but yes because she is trying to guilt me into coming home. Not only can I defiantly not afford it right now, but I really don't want to."

"Tell her you don't want to." He pulled her into the shower and started to wash her back, easing the tension out of her shoulders.

"She would take it personally, like try to make it about her. I left. I am never going back, not even to visit." She couldn't very well show up to her mothers with Yoongi at her side, knowing that her ex would more than likely show up with his new wife and kids in tow. She didn't want that pain, didn't want Yoongi to see into the dirty windows of her past. Then again it would be wonderful to rub it in Kevin's face that he was wrong about her making something out of herself. And wrong about not only meeting, but actually dating Min Yoongi. She pondered the satisfaction of it as Yoongi started washing her belly.
