Amy slid into her seat as the bell rang. She was out of breath from rushing. She had missed the bus and had decided to wait for the next one, which put her closer to the school but much later, and she had to run all the way from the stop to keep from being tardy. A small blessing was the other people around her also running for the next bus. It seemed to be a theme in Korea. Run here, rush there. That also meant she didn't have time to talk to JK.
Class was painfully slow. They had been covering the Korean War for several weeks now, and this week was all documentaries about the fighting. It felt like it was going to take months. The worst part was that she had to pay close attention to the subtitles because they were narrated so fast. She couldn't let her mind wander in the slightest, and she had to take notes.
The bell rang, and she only had a few minutes to get to the next building for her language class, not nearly enough time to go all the way across campus to see Jungkook. If the first class had been torture, this one was practically homicide. It was all Amy could do to keep her foot from shaking and her pencil from trapping during the lecture. She didn't hear anything that the teacher said about the conjugation of verbs.
Finally, it was her break. She darted out of the classroom as nonchalantly as possible, but when she was clear of the building, she practically sprinted across the courtyard. She almost lost her bookbag as she rounded the rail to dart up the outside staircase of building B. The building had a name, but she had always just called it the B building. She took two calming breaths before opening the door. There were two students coming towards her, and she hurried to get out of their way. 1206, 1208, 1210, 1212! She opened the door and filled her lungs to berate him, but he wasn't there. This was his lunch break. He was always in his classroom.
Amy's emotions flowed like lava in her veins between seething and fear. All the little things she had come to depend on, without really knowing she had, were suddenly gone. Things she didn't know she needed. Things she now yearned for. But where was he?
Feeling dejected, Amy slowly made her way down to where the lunch areas were. She thought maybe she could calm her fears a bit if she talked to Alex and Tara, who should be eating near the gardens. As she walked past the glass wall, she peered inside and saw them in their usual spot near the huge monsteras. But as she started to grab for the door handle, she saw Jungkook further back and to the left, and he was sitting with a woman. Her heart started to sink.
They seemed engaged in a serious discussion. He nodded as she chatted on, pointing to something sitting between them. She seemed passionate about whatever it was. This wasn't idol chit-chat. Just as Amy was about to dismiss this as no more than a poorly timed business meeting, the woman and JK laughed loudly. Not caring about her last class, Amy turned and began sprinting away from the door. She felt trapped in a stupid K-Drama, running and running. Her heart pounding in time with her feet pounding in time with her head. She was halfway home before a stich in her side, made her slow down.
Back at the school, if Amy had only paused a moment longer, she would have seen Alex walk up to JK and point her out at the door. JK stood to wave her in, but it was too late.
By the time he had excused himself from Alex and Hykume, Amy was nowhere to be seen. That didn't stop Jungkook from chasing after her. When she had finally stopped near the bus pickup, Jungkook caught sight of her and was almost caught up. When he saw her grab her side and slow, then turn to sit, he mumbled a gracious 'thankyou' to the universe. Amy was so caught up in the maelstrom of her emotions that she didn't hear JK's boot striking as he ran up to her.
Jungkook stopped a foot from where Amy was sitting. He wasn't panting like she was but was still breathing heavy. "Why did you run?"
She didn't look at him. "Sounded like you were having a good time. I didn't want to interrupt." Though she was still catching her breath, her tone was flat and indifferent.
"Amy!" He said with irritation. "Don't be childish!"
She jumped up and turned on him. "Childish? How is me walking away from the man I thought was my boyfriend, who I saw with a very pretty woman, who obviously can't wake me up when he leaves, who can't even MESSAGE ME when he's going to miss our lunch date, wh-"
JK put his finger to her lips. "Can I explain before you keep screaming for all of downtown Seoul to hear?"
"Yes." Amy had her wide, demanding eyes locked on him, waiting for him to explain.
"Good. But that's not quite the answer I was looking for." He crossed his muscled arms and shifted his weight from one boot to another.
"Yes, sir." Amy said, lowering her defiant gaze.
"Good girl." Jungkook pivoted and strode away from her, leaving her with her mouth agape and looking after him. She got a text a few moments after he disappeared from view.
JK: Go home and be ready when I get there.
Amy had the rest of mid day to worry about everything. She did go home as ordered and changed that load of laundry over to the dryer. She took a shower, then soaked in a hot bath before making up the bed with clean linens and a cover. She cleaned her already clean kitchen and paced until time for him to arrive.
If the time that passed before his designated normal ETA was torture, then each minute that passed after it was hell. She was about to get off the bed a third time when she heard a key at her door.
Her heart was pounding when he suddenly filled her bedroom doorway, naked from the waist up.
"Put your hands behind your back."
There was little emotion in his voice, and it edged on anger. His muscles rippled with barly checked restraint.
Amy placed her hands behind her back and looked down at the clean beige cover, a shaking starting in her belly.
In one fluid motion, he unfurled himself from the doorway and moved behind her. He grabbed her wrists roughly and tied them tightly together.
"Head down, ass up." He commanded through clenched teeth. She put her head down on the bed and faced away from him. Her breath was speeding up, matching her racing heart. She closed her eyes tightly.
The first blow shook her and excited her at the same time. The pop across her ass was muffled by her panties. Then he spoke.
"She is a singer and an ARMY. She's wanted to cut a demo with me for her new album. I have been working on my own album as well. You shouldn't jump to conclusions about the other women in my life. There will always be women around. You can't be jealous." He landed another blow. "And I am your boyfriend!"
Amy had tears building behind her closed eyes, but she felt herself responding, heating up in her belly.
Jungkook hooked two fingers under her panties and pulled them slowly down. "Now, what else are you having issues with?"
"You left." Amy said softly into the cover. "I thought you and Jimin left together." She took a breath. "You didn't do your normal routine."
"Normal routine?"
"You didn't flip that damn thing you bought or the air gizmo." She sniffed.
He chuckled softly, the anger fading slightly. "Jimin left after round one, princess, and it was after three when I left. I didn't want to wake you."
"But what about your shirt!"
He popped her naked ass loudly, smirking when she jumped. "We will address each issue one at a time. Is that clear?"
"Yes, sir."
"Jimin came in his shirt instead of you. He grabbed mine to go home in. I knew I left that one here, and it needed to be washed again anyway." He rubbed the area he had left a hand print on and popped her again.
"What else?" He slid his hand down in between her thighs.
"You...you didn't message me." She chirpped when another blow landed on her other cheek. She couldn't suppress the moan that escaped her.
Jungkook had moved around behind her and was sliding his fingers up and down her her soaked slit. She wanted desperately to back up and feel penetration.
"You are right. I should have messaged you." She heard his belt slapping it's loops as he pulled rapidly off. "I won't do it again." She heard him unzip his jeans and felt the tip of his hard cock at her opening.
"Jungkook?"
He landed a blow with the belt. She cried out, but it wasn't from pain.
"Yes?"
"Please!" She tried to back her hips up again. The belt came down again, slightly harder and she groaned loudly.
"Please what baby girl?"
"I need you."
"And I need you, but we are just getting started."
