Third Person POV

The preparations for the get together are today, and Aether and Xiao finished their tasks early. They cleaned the stairs and put up wall decorum that represented the seven nations of Teyvat. The guests from Mondstadt and Snezhnaya are arriving around noon tomorrow. The get together starts on Friday, March 25 at 6pm Sharp. But everyone knew that the guests from Fontaine and Sumeru liked to be fashionably late, as their outfits and clothing were always the best and always show stopping and looked amazing.

Aether's POV

I should ask Xiao on a date. But maybe we should keep it as friends even though i am head over heels for him.

"Lumi"

"Yes Aether?"

"How do you ask someone on a date but make it not super obvious that its romantic"

"Ask him and say—"

Xiao walks into the room suddenly, and we all came to a stop. He didnt hear what we said, thank god, but he says

"Aether, can we talk in the Courtyard?"

"Yes, just let me have a couple minutes"

Xiao's face becomes blushed, visibly, as he feels it and quickly runs upstairs

"There's your answer" says Lumine

"What do you mean?"

"Oh my god Aether he is so in love with you just look at him"

"I don't know, maybe he's shy of you because of the way he treated me at first"

Lumine gave me a look

"What??"

"Just wait and see"

"Okayyy?"

I walked out to the courtyard and saw Xiao standing there, looking shy as ever, and he's about to ask me something, as i walk up to him

"Do you, i don't know, wanna go on a date? As FRIENDS?"

Xiao's POV

I just gave it away. Ugh i am so dumb, this isn't a moment i want to ask him, but it's like he's dumb, as he says "Sure! Let me get ready"

He came outside again and we went to Wangshu Inn, where some really good food is made, pretty underrated. One of the places i used to stay in.

The sun is setting as we eat our food. It's golden, and a crystalfly flies by and lands on Aether's head, burrowing into his hair. It looks beautiful, and i'm staring into his eyes, as he's looking at the sunset. He starts to look over at me, and i quickly look away to not make him notice. But he says, "Look at me" and i surprisingly look back without hesitation. My face is as red as a strawberry. He gets up, the crystalfly flies away, and takes my hand to the balcony. We sit on a bench overlooking Liyue. "It's so beautiful" he says.

He looks at me, and i look at him. I close my eyes and lean in. He does the same. We kissed. I felt like an angel. Archons, it felt like i was in heaven. We quickly went home after that because he was looking at me in that way.

Getting hone we run upstairs and i kiss him some more. He's such a good kisser and he's enjoying it a lot. But i was wanting more of something i had no idea. I didnt know what i wanted, but i wanted more.

I pushed him onto a wall as we were kissing and knocked down a lamp on the nightstand. He kissed me some more and my heart was racing. It was heaven.

We kissed for hours. We didnt talk, just looked into each others eyes and kissed some more on my bed.

Aether's POV

I was in heaven, let's get it straight. I was with the person i loved dearly. And he was perfect. His skin was soft, he was such a good kisser, and he made me feel like i was complete. I gripped his hair and pulled him in closer. I groaned and let out noises i couldn't help. So this is love? Oh how i enjoy this~ I've never felt this feeling before. Blood rushing through my veins, i kissed him, so much. I felt his abs, his hair, his skin, it was all soft. It felt so true, his body.

Zhongli walked in, he forgot something in Xiao's closet. He froze and we froze, one of my hands was holding his and the other was on his torso. I didn't want to let go, he felt so soft. I was shaking with joy.

"Well this looks like a bad time..." he said jokingly, starting to walk out, and Xiao called after him, and he came back.

"Father, I didn't want you to find out like this..."

Zhongli laughed, he said "Xiao i always knew. I saw the look on your face when you saw Aether for the first time. You always looked at boys differently and i knew. I'm happy for you."

"I thought you...would be mad? I mean, I'm the prince of Liyue."

"Xiao theres no shame in being gay. I still love you the same. I'm going, you two can get back to your little love story, hehe~"

We went to sleep, as it was getting very late. I was in the same position as before, and fell asleep like a little baby. His hand slid from my shoulder to my elbow, and again, and again.

"Aether," he said

"Yes?"

"I'm in love with you." He said back

"I am too"

I fell asleep.

Xiao's POV

I looked into his eyes as his smile slowly faded as he fell asleep. His skin was so soft. I felt like i was more in love by the second, his head was on my chest and his hair was running up my shoulder.

I fell asleep just like that.

Lumine's POV

I needed something out of Aether's room and walked in, knowing those two were asleep already, so i snuck in. The night jar full of crystalflies he had illuminated the both of them and... Aether's head was on Xiao's chest?? Well that happened quick. Xiao was out cold, aether was also out cold but they were both happy and i could feel it. I grabbed my toothbrush and walked back downstairs, giggling, knowing that i had some news for Aether that he would be so happy to learn.

I knew there would be some weird relationship forming at the wedding but I NEVER thought it would be those two...

The election of Khanre'ah was on March 11th and the results came in last night, Former Grand Master Dain, me, and Aether didn't have to live in Khaenri'ah anymore. Grand Master Kaeya Alberich was the new president of the country. I was going to ask him where he wanted to move to, as our trio was one of the most affluent in all of Teyvat so we can move anywhere we want, but judging what I saw, i think i know where he wants to be.
