Xiao's POV
I woke up to the sun barely above the horizon, and no birds chirping, but our room was very cold. I went to shut the window, as Aether began to rub his eyes. I was a bit sad, he was cute when he slept and I wanted to watch.
"Xiao, its Thanksgiving Break!" He said, rubbing his eyes a bit more and opening them.
"What is Thanksgiving anyway..." I said back
"It's when people, families, they all get together to celebrate each other and eat a huge feast! Have you celebrated before?"
"I haven't, no. Morax never celebrated holidays, he only acted as my father."
"Not even..Christmas??"
"No. But I know what Christmas is. The first time I've ever had a holiday was what you did for my birthday."
"Oh...well, lets change that!"
"Oh?"
"I've arranged for a Thanksgiving Dinner at the Jade Chamber! Everyone's coming, including Venti and Kaeya."
"Oh Aether, thank you. I love you."
I began getting the heavy feeling in my chest any time that Aether goes above and beyond I get this mysterious feeling that I hate but also love. He saw my cheeks get hot and red, and pulled me in for a kiss. We walked out into the kitchen where he began firing up the stove for breakfast. He cooked, we ate, and then headed out for the day. We decided to go out for a walk. We walked along the coastline of the beach, with the cliff overhang looking above to our house and our neighbors. The beach was very pretty, the West Cove was a great walk.
We went back home as our day progressed, and then went to sleep soon after.
Thursday, November 26
Jade Chamber
Third Person POV
Both Xiao and Aether were about to get out of bed and prepare, but not before Xiao hugged aether and told him how much he loved being with him. He was very sweet, the stone wall he had in his heart was long broken. They prepared for thanksgiving and then Xiao teleported the both of them to the base of the Jade Chamber, with their dressy outfits on. Aether was wearing a Tux, whereas Xiao was wearing a dress shirt and long khakis. Pretty formal, because of the amount of people coming to this dinner. They walked in, and the first people they saw were Ningguang and Zhongli. There weren't many people there, so it was just them preparing, along with Ganyu and Hu-Tao.
Xiao began greeting his adopted parents, whereas Aether greeted Ganyu and Hu-Tao and helped decorate the dining area with thanksgiving and fall-esque decorations. Music was playing in the background, as they almost finished. Venti came into the house around 4pm, with three bottles of Cabernet from Mondstadt, the Dawn Winery, with Diluc trailing behind. Diluc and Kaeya walked in together, they finally were getting along after Khaenri'ah was reestablished and the Abyss was disbanded. It seemed that the energy the abyss stopped causing throughout Teyvat dissipated everyone's conflicts and rifts, so everyone got along well. Xiao no longer had karmic debt, and everyone else was kind and well going with each other.
Dainslief and Lumine then walked in, and immediately ran to hug Aether. Lumine was super happy to see her brother.
"How is your new apartment treating you Lulu??"
