The nation of Khaenri'ah has been freed, Aether and Lumine have been reunited with Dainslief as their other brother, and Khaenri'ah has developed into a happy nation. With the Fatui disbanded, the electro gnosis that the Doctor acquired is now in both Aether and Lumine's control and Khanre'ah essentially became a nation flowing with all energy. Aether and Lumine, the twins, are packing up for a trip to Liyue Harbor, when Dain walks into the room.
"Lulu i told you to pack your other hair product, its dry in Liyue!" Aether says
"Yes i know but im almost out and this other one will work fine" Returns Lumine
"Okay but do not come complaining to me when your hair becomes frayed"
"Fine i'm bringing the TRAVEL SIZE one"
Dain walks in and sneaks up on them
"Lulu double check y- ARCHONS Dain, don't scare me like that!"
He laughed hysterically and said the carriage to take them to Liyue Harbor's Jade Chamber was 2 minutes away.
Taking their bags up to the front, they depart for Liyue.
Chapter One
[March 18-19, 2021]
Xiao's POV
My father said guests were coming here. I'm not thrilled. I hate socializing and i'm not up for seeing other people. Especially from Khaenri'ah. I have to share a bed with one of them too. Our guest rooms are full. This is going to be a long two weeks. Until April 2. That's it. It's only two weeks.
Aether's POV
After the brunt of the grief from my ex boyfriend, that i finished thinking about a while ago, leaving him in 2020, the year that was supposed to be the best in Teyvat, I started thinking about him again.
You are the worst f/cking person i've set my eyes on
You mean nothing to me
You always make everything difficult
It makes me insecure thinking about it, how i was trying to fill a void in my heart. But hopefully the wedding and Teyvat get-together hosted by Zhongli and Ningguang I might meet someone there.
The carriages depart and we begin our trek to Liyue using the Khaenri'ah-Liyue Ferry that my good friend Beidou heads.
Lumine's POV
That piece of sh/t Aether was dating, i can tell he's still thinking about him. I swear, if he shows up at the get-together i will make him rue the day he was born. You don't mess with my twin brother and expect to get away with it.
Aether is hoping to meet a guy there, and i honestly hope he does too. Him and Childe broke up in November and it's March. This two weeks i hope he finds someone. Me on the other hand, i'm seeing her, Ganyu.
Archons, i blush when i think about her. She's perfect for me. I hope to see her soon.
Third Person POV
The twins and Dain arrive in Liyue in the early morning hours of March 19. Dain can tell that the twins are excited to meet a couple people, while he personally was excited to go shopping with a tiny portion of the fortune in War crimes that every nation of Teyvat gave him. He checked his bank slip from the Northland branch before he left, and Lumine and Aether both got a gigantic 1.9 Million Mora ($912,290 USD) and Dain got 4 Million Mora ($3,092,109 USD) all to invest in Liyue stocks, shop for their fine clothing, and hopefully find dates in expensive resturaunts.
"We could've just apparated here" says Lumine, quite annoyed at the longevity of the trip
"But the carriage trip we got to see all kinds of mountains and splendor" Returns Aether
"I guess you're right"
Xiao's POV
The guests have arrived. It's so early. I'm in a bad mood and worse, i have to SHARE MY BED with a blond haired quiet guy who has nothing in common with me. Or maybe, so i thought. I don't want to be social. But it seems like he's extremely social.
He says hello and strikes up conversation with my Father and Ningguang before showing him to my room. I saw his face. His eyes, they were captivating~
Aether's POV
I entered this master-sized bedroom and there, sitting on his bed was this short, black-and-teal haired guy named Xiao. He didn't notice me at first, but he looked up from his Sumerian book and saw me.
"Hi i'm Aet-"
"Don't bother. I already know all about you and your nation of...darkness. Don't talk to me."
"Oh-o-okay" I set my bag down in the closet and left his room to where he returned to that damn book.
"You people think you can come and infiltrate our great nation, HA! You will never. Khaenri'an scum"
We all ate dinner together and went back to our rooms.
The Sumerian Guests arrived late in the night and went to their guest rooms. With the guy i'm staying with im starting to think, Why couldn't we just get a guest room, i have to stay with this asshole who doesn't know how to be a little bit decent.
I realized Sh/t i forgot my nightclothes.
So i knew what was to come. Xiao was almost my height so i asked him, "do you have any spare night clothing?"
He returned with a heavy sigh, "there, in the middle drawer, there's a couple nightclothes. I don't wear them."
I thanked him but he didn't bother responding.
I got into the bed, he had a king bed, and slept the farthest away from him i could,trying hard not to bother him.
He moves a lot when he sleeps.
