Xiao's POV
I underestimated him.
I'm starting to enjoy the weeks ahead, thinking that he is already enjoying it too. I saw the look on his face when he was dancing, it was beautiful.
I've never felt like that before, I think i was falling in love. It was like we lived in harmony.
He woke up and left the room immediately after changing, i was acting like i was asleep. I really hoped he liked me back. The guests from Inazuma arrived
I saw him in my shirt and shivers down my spine came. I am always keeping that shirt.
The bachelorette party was today, and the Get-Together's first party was also today. Aether said he didn't want to go, but Lumine said she did.
Lumine's POV
Aether doesn't want to go to the party, because he gets the entire palace to himself. Of course. And it's with that little sh/t Xiao that i think he is falling in love with. I'm wondering why he loves assholes like him. But it's whatever. I tell him to use the waypoint if he needs me, because it's being hosted at a venue right by the waypoint in Liyue Harbor.
I left the house, and went to the party. Waiting for Aether to appear in front of the venue with tears because Xiao was being mean to him, he never comes. im a but surprised but im happy that they're getting along well.
Suddenly Amber appeared, my bestie, and we talked for a while.
"Are you using him for his money?"
Of course she was talking about that certain someone that i didn't even like
"No love, I'm using him for his dick!"
"Lumine you have to get your shit straight youre seeing Ganyu tomorrow"
"Okay so maybe let side note that we haven't linked since October"
"OCTOBER?"
"Yes amber, October. He moved to Fontaine for a business trip, met this ugly ass bitch i dont even like, then left me for her"
"Lulu he is so toxic"
"Lets just say i left him a little note when he decided to just leave :)"
Aether's POV
I get the whole house to myself and xiao. Why do i feel like this is gonna be fun? I mean, yes, im falling in love with him but I've only known him for a couple days.
We are sitting in the kitchen, I'm cooking, and instantly i know what to make Xiao. I make a satisfying salad for myself and a plate of Almond Tofu for Xiao. Yes, i am a pretty good cook, so predictably, he enjoyed it. He wolfed it down, said it was some of the best he's had. I appreciated the compliment.
It was getting late so i got up and changed in his bathroom. He was waiting patiently on his bed for me, and said "Maybe we should... you know... get to know each other?"
I cheerfully said "Yeah!~" we began asking each other questions and he opened up very fast. His birthday is April 17, my birthday is September 3, he has lived here for a long time, ever since he was born. He is 19, and I'm 18. He is smart and kind, pretty trustworthy, and then he said to me in his voice,
"If you ever need me, just speak my name~"
"Oh shut up Xiao you've said that like 20 times already. its your catchphrase."
"Whatever"
