Saturday, December 25 [Christmas Day]

Third Person POV
{—Xiao and Aether, One under the Archons, Monday, December 27, 2021—}
The two boys woke up, in their Christmas themed pajamas, and stretched for thirty seconds before looking into each other's eyes and smiling at the same time. It was surprising, seeing Xiao smile, because before that he didn't smile. The lovebirds walked downstairs and recalled the tree of which both left a couple presents for the other. Aether and Xiao then sat down across from each other right by the tree, kissed, then Aether was handed a small box from Xiao. Aether quickly unwrapped and opened it, and saw a small key inside. Xiao then told Aether to walk outside, and he saw a car.
To be specific, it was a 2022 Subaru Outback, and Aether was very happy. He had his eye on the car for a while, and Xiao seemed to take notice to that and honor his wishes. Aether, elated, then ran back like a child and in tears, thanked Xiao profusely in great levels of gratitude. He then sat back down after a long while of being very happy. Xiao opened his gift, a very large one, and it was the set of cooking pans he wanted, as he began to take a liking to cooking. Aether got them for him and himself, because he was the main chef of the household. Xiao was also very happy. Aether then opened his second gift, an envelope, and it was two tickets for front row seats for the noteworthy artists tour, when it hit Liyue on February 1st for Lantern Rite.
Xiao and Aether then opened the final gift, and it was a booklet that had no label. It was from Diluc and Kaeya. They then opened the booklet, and it was pictures of the wedding setup they had planned for two days from now. They both looked excited for it, very very excited.
"Alright my love, it's time to get ready!"
Xiao and Aether both had separate bachelor parties. Aether with Lumine, Dainslief, and the whole of Mondstadt and Sumeru's higher ups, while Xiao was with NIngguang, Zhongli, Beidou, Hu-Tao, Yanfei, all of their relatives, and most of the higher-ups in Liyue, along with all of the other Adepti.
Aether's was at the Mondstadt Venue for Distinguished Citizens, and Xiao's was at the Jade Chamber. Aeth then got ready, put on his best suit aside form his groom outfit, then kissed Xiao goodbye and headed out to begin his journey to Mondstadt. He took their new car with him, as Xiao only had to go up the street. Aether drove 42 miles to Mondstadt City, and went into the venue for a surprise party with LOTS of drinks and welcomes.
Xiao's POV
This was the best thing that could happen to me. Everything. I never thought this day would come. Being congratulated for wedding with the person I love. All of it felt unreal. I finished getting ready and putting on my suit. Then headed out for the car that was sent for me to take me to the Jade Chamber. I walked in, and suddenly...
"SUPRISE!!!"
Followed with what sounded like a hundred people congratulating me at once. surprised and flustered, I went to greet everyone slowly, thanked everyone for coming, then went off to talk with my family.
"We are so proud, Xiao, we really are..." Zhongli stated,
"I havent known you as long as he has but, I am also very proud, I thought this would never happen...you always seemed like the colder more reserved type" Ningguang added,
"Thank you both" I said
Meanwhile in Ventiland,
Aether's POV
The crowd, the guests, the people, the mood, the spirits, the drinks... everything was perfect.
"OH MY TWIN BROTHER I LOVE YOU" Lumine shouted, Dain trailing behind, joining the hug,
I smiled huge, blushed, and became very flustered because this was a huge thing for me, being accepted by everyone I know and love.
"Aether we are so proud of you, your parents are looking down and are also so proud..." Dainslief said
I thanked them and walked over to where Venti was, and said hello.
"Aetherrrr! I'm so happy for you..." Venti said,
"Oh my god, its actually happening...the two of you actually are marrying." Amber said along,
"Go Aether! Congratulations!" said Jean in the background.
Everyone was so happy for me.
Suddenly I heard a knock at the door, and excused myself from the conversation to go and get it. I opened the door slowly to see who it was, and to my utmost suprise, it was Childe. Again. This time in tears. Like I needed this right now. I walked outside and shut the door, then said in a furious tone,
"What. Are. You. Doing. Here."
"Aether...i'm...sorry for doing what I did to you"
"Keep your sorry to yourself!! You think just a 'sorry' is gonna help the fact that you hate crimed me and my fiancé in the middle of an alley? You think that wasn't traumatizing for me? Oh and not to mention the fact that you IGNORED my asexuality when we were in a relationship...you just straight up said that it was not important! You used me, Tartaglia. I hope you learned your lesson. I don't have time for this, I'm not engaging in an already embarrassing conversation. You show up in tears, two days before my wedding thinking I'm going to take you back. Well think again, because he is way better than you will ever be."
I was mad, and rightfully so. I didn't have time for this. So I said, "Thanks for the apology. Now leave and get home. It's cold"
I walked into the venue and shut the door. Seething, I went to the bathroom, and my sister followed, seeing how upset I was. I went into the bathroom and my sister followed suit behind me, and shut the door.
"What was all that about?? Everyone's looking for y—"
"Lu, Childe showed up."
"Whaaaat?!"
"I told him off though, so nothing to worry about, it was just stupid to begin with anyway..."
"Please tell me more!"
"He showed up all in tears trying to apologize to win me over from my FIANCÉ."
"He is delusional Aeth, I've tried to tell you this since you met him. He doesn't have a single functioning brain cell in the pea-sized thing he has in the hollow mass of bone that he calls a head."
"Lu you did NOT have to go that far...hehe"
"It's true!! Now come on, you got people to greet still and weddings to prepare for."
We walked out and went back to greet more visitors. The night went on and then I eventually made the long drive home, arrived, then walked in to see Xiao on the couch, slumped, probably tired from the alcohol.
