Third Person POV
The Jade Chamber has partially been occupied as a sanctuary for the former Heroes of Sumeru.
Liyue has closed its borders off from Sumeru off and its maritime is being monitored.
The two countries are going to war, and it is inevitable.
Liyue has sanctioned Sumeru, cutting off all trade and resource exports, meaning Mondstadt and Dragonspine cannot ship goods. Mondstadt has issued a 'No Peace, No Trade' Decree towards Sumeru. Inazuma has issued a 'Sumeru Order' Decree banning all travel and exports to the nation. Liyue and Inazuma are all accepting Sumerian Refugees until the situation in the country is resolved. All nations know that Lesser Lord Kusanali has escaped the nation, but the Liyue Government wants to keep it a secret that she is being given asylum at the Jade Chamber, as well as a couple others.
This was the group that saved Sumeru a couple years ago, so maybe they can do it again.
Xiao's POV
The visitors or...temporary stayers are all in our numerous guest rooms. I don't mind, as long as my space isn't being occupied.
Aether finishes brushing his teeth and walks into the room, sits on the sofa, and quietly thinks for a couple minutes.
Aether's POV
How could Sumeru fall again?
How do we fight against these Ley Line Wands they have?
Half of the country escaped through the desert to Inazuma and Liyue, but what about the other half?
How do we even fix this?
Would i die? No, that cant be right, im immortal.
How did this even happen?
Are we going to help this time? How would that work...
"What are you thinking about?" Xiao suddenly blurts, looking alone on the bed
"How this whole thing happened? I mean, it must be bad...half of the entire nation escaped to either Inazuma or us, and the only way to fight them is to shut off the Ley Lines, but that would require both Venti, Zhongli, Nahida, and Ei." I said
"You...really want to save Sumeru again?"
"I mean i don't want to...but do i really have a choice?"
"Are you...okay?"
"No. I don't even want to think about this."
"Come here"
I went onto the bed with him, so he didnt have to look lonely anymore. How dependent.
"The Adeptus needs little Aether to comfort him?" I teased
"Don't put it like that. I'm not weak"
"Oh but you can't even last a second without me...can you?"
He shut me up by giving me a kiss. I fell asleep a couple minutes later, gazing into Xiao's fierce but calming, and mesmerizing eyes.
Monday, May 3
Aether's POV
We woke up in the morning, again, at the same time. How were our energies exactly connected? It's crazy how we actually do wake up at the same time.
Dehya was up, making breakfast with the food she got earlier last night, she and Alhaitham were big eaters, so they both got enough food to feed an army. They offered to cook for us for the time being, and i wasn't complaining. Dehya was a really good chef, really good for the desert, too. Cyno and Xiao easily got along.
We all sat and ate whatever Dehya made for us. Dehya would make new creations almost every time she cooked. Only she knew how to do that, like the back of her hand. They always came out delicious.
We all sat at the table, talking about what's to come.
"Traveler, I suspect you know the entire situation at hand now?" -C
"Yes, and I want to help." -Ae
"Good. We need all of the support we can get." -Al
I gave Xiao a little bit of a nudge, because i wanted him to help out too. Sure he was an Adeptus from Liyue, but that didn't mean he couldn't help out Sumeru. I mean, Zhongli set him free a while back, so he can do whatever he pleases.
"I...I can help too" -X
"That means a lot. Thank you, Xiao." -D
"Alhaitham, I suspect youre already coming up with one of your flawless plans?" -C
"Yes. And i might add, we must visit Raiden and Venti."
"Zhongli has already agreed, i visited him late last night out of someone else's consciousness." -N
"Oh? What did he say?" -X
"Zhongli is happy that the Jade Chamber is full of people who might potentially need to protect his children." -N
His...children? Does Zhongli consider me his child?
Just then, Lumine and Dain came knocking at the door. They walked in, and sat down at the table. I invited them over earlier this morning.
"What is the plan?" Dainslief said
"Shh, Dain let them talk!" Lumine said
"Nahida and Zhongli have already agreed to help shut down the Ley Lines. Only problem is we must use energy from Gnoses to use our elemental skills. I have a couple of them. I know someone who somehow knows how to make them." -Al
Alhaitham pulled out a Divine Gnosis (The gnosis that carries all elemental energy)
"All of you, besides Dainslief, Aether, and Lumine must be around this gnosis to use elemental energy." -Al
"Now for the hard part." -C
"Yes, we must find a way to infiltrate the Akadeymia, again." -Al
"There's always transformation potions, or spells to make you look different?"- Ae
"Aether, what if you found Albedo? I think he knows how to make that kind of stuff." -L
Xiao was in his seat, i moved to the couch.
"Venti is in Mondstadt. Lumine and Dainslief, you two go find him. You both know his spots, so it's easy to find him." -Al
"Dehya, you and Beidou need to find Ei. I will go with you. She is in the public in Inazuma helping aid the refugees." -Al
"She can still use the Raiden Puppet with her gnosis, right?"- Ae
"Yes. That way, Inazuma is still protected from harm should something come up." -Al
"Khaenri'ah has issued a statement that they are partnering with Mondstadt to help aide refugees should Mondstadt reach full capacity."
"Okay, good to know Kaeya's on our side" -L
"Everyone return back here in two days time. We will convene and discuss. Cyno and Nahida, please stay and help protect both Aether and Xiao."
Everyone teleported away, and now it was just me, Nahida, Xiao, and Cyno.
I leaned my head on Xiao, i was tired. I couldn't get good sleep knowing how in danger Sumeru is.

The day was coming to an end, Cyno was going to bed already, and Nahida had went off to her room and did whatever Nahida does at night.
Xiao was attention hungry. Obviously. He was giving me looks when i talked to other people that came here.
"Xiao quit giving me that look."
"What look?"
"You are so attention hungry it's obvious."
"Because you didn't talk to me almost at all that entire meeting."
I grabbed his hips, those tattooed hips and told him to shut it and kissed him.
"You know i love you"
"Fine. I love you too."
He couldn't resist.
