Monday, November 1
Aether's POV

I woke up to see Xiao, and his face, still deeply red from the events that transpired last night. He woke up right as i woke up, and immediately pulled me in for a hug. I could tell he was still really upset and a bit insecure about knowing if I wanted him still, but one thing for sure is that I did want him. He made me happy, more happy than I've ever been. The heart thumping, deeply in love, excitement and adrenaline you get just by thinking about the person you love, thats what I have. And I still do, I've had it since that late march evening when I met him.

We're on break until November 2, so me and Xiao decided to have a house cleaning day. He started with the bathrooms, I started with the floors, and by lunchtime we were done. Our house was small.

"Do you want me to make something for lunch?" Xiao says to me as he passes me in the kitchen,

"Oh, I was thinking of baking something after lunch! I ordered takeout already, haha."

I took out my iPad and looked for a baking recipe. Our kitchen had an island with two ovens and a pyro stove on the top. It was powered by Liyue's Ley Line Pyro system, so we were fine with electricity and heating. We got a deal because our friend Zuri worked at the corporate office downtown for the company that provided our Ley Line energy.

I took out the ingredients and Xiao came behind me as I was mixing them in the bowl, hugging me around my chest. He found a chefs hat and put it on me and turned me around, and laughed.

"I'm the new master chef of Wanmin Resturaunt yall got competition"

"Aether you would quit on your first day"

"Mayyybe thats true but I can still cook for you :)"

He took the flour and started mixing it in, then got too much in it and I grabbed a handful and threw it on his hair, he took this as a battle cry and then took a handful from the box and threw it all over my face. I was sneezing and he, of course, had the last laugh. I should've known. I laughed, and washed my face. It was all over my apron too.

"You look like a mom in the summertime baking cookies for the kids in the neighborhood" Xiao tells me,

"Oh my god, Xiao"

Everything was set and ready and I put it in the oven. 45 minutes later, it was done, and I took a piece and tasted it. It was really good. I gave Xiao a piece and he loved it too.

"You like sweets now~"

"Oh shut up, I'm only eating it because you made it."

Third Person POV
Xiao began reading his issue of The Sumerian Post and the front page was littered with advertisements of food stands, concessions, diners, concerts, and things like that all over the front page. He looked closer and they all had the same text, 'Coming to Breathing November'

"Aether, what's Breathing November?"

Aether's mouth dropped, and he looked around to see if he was hearing things.

"Don't be dramatic~ just tell me!"

"Okay okay, I'm just surprised you've never heard of it!"

"What is it?"

"The biggest fall festival in Teyvat! I was planning on taking you. Its in Sumeru Heights, which is the big neighborhood thats south of Sumeru City, sort of in the middle of the City and Port Ormos."

"Wow, Sumeru City is huge now," Xiao says as he looks at the map

Sumeru city grew and tripled in size, lining the river to Port Ormos.

"Well, do you want to go?" Aether says,

"Yeah, sure. When is it?"

"It's from November 16-21, so well have to leave on the 15th."

"Okay, lets go!"
