It was raining and everything was completely dark. Usually, you would've loved the rain, especially at night. But that was in the past and that was when you were in a home in the warmth of a home and under protection. Not to mention you had people around you that you trusted and felt comfortable with. Now you had no one, not even the male Na'vi as you were ordered to hand him off to someone else. Regretfully you had to listen, handing him off was hard to do as they immediately grabbed him by his long braid. You felt worse than before and stayed close, watching him instead of your surroundings.

"Incoming three minutes." You were honestly hoping that everything would be okay. You were trying to convince yourself that they would all be okay. Nothing terrible would happen to them, right? After all, they were only the children of the person they were sent here to hunt down and kill. You squeezed your gun closer to you now. You knew as soon as they got on that aircraft they were done for. "Watch our six."

Alexander had a girl Na'vi, Kiri, and a human man named Spider. He moved them quickly yanking them by their hair. You really wished something would happen now, if it did you were tempted to help. As soon as the thought crossed your mind you snapped out of it, if you helped them get away the Colonel would have your head.

Looking around your mind raced back to her, the girl in the video. She looked so tired and yet strong. You had never noticed it before but thinking about her now she was someone who you remembered as a leader, a pillar of strength, and a person with strong morals and a heart. Something you felt you were drifting away from, you were a coward. You should be helping these people. They needed your help.

Raising your head you held your gun up, you looked at the Recom team, and you made your decision then. You started to think of a way to help them without making it a suicide mission. It wasn't something plausible and you knew it but you weren't going to stand and do nothing. Your ears perked slightly as you heard a noise, it sounded like an animal, and yet you knew it wasn't. Not when you saw Lo'ak's ears move to the sound as well. You noticed him looking over at his siblings almost as if they were reading each other's minds. When he noticed you were looking at him he gave you a scowl. You held your ground wondering if they had already called for help.

You heard the older Na'vi girl start to mumble. "Shut up." Alexander yanked her hair to try and get her quiet but it didn't work, she just kept going. You didn't know what she was saying but you thought maybe it was something she was doing to calm herself. "Shut up!" Alexander yanked her hair back again this time more demanding than before, you were getting fed up with how he held her and started to walk in his direction before an arrow lodged itself straight into his head. The Colonel moved fast pushing Spider out of the way before firing the way the arrow came from. You knew it was now or never. Taking your AR you ran towards the young Na'vi girl. "Lo'ak!" His name was called out from the distance and out of the corner of your eye, you saw him set off a smoke bomb. Then with all your force, you hit Zdinarsk with your AR causing her to let the young Na'vi girl go. "Come on!" Grabbing her arm you helped her to her feet and over to where Lo'ak was ushering her to follow.

The gunfire was loud, you could hear bullets fly by and just miss you and the two Na'vi. "Go faster!" Turning around for only a second you shot back at whoever had eyes on you. You had no idea if any shots hit their target but all the gunfire ceased for an instant. You could hear the Colonel's voice loud and clear. "That you Mrs. Sully? I'd recognize your calling card." His voice rang loud in your ears and you could taste blood in your mouth. Petrified you almost stopped running, "Keep going!" The girl was looking at you she seemed so frightened, she needed someone right now to help her. That's what you were here for, it's what you were alive for.

"Na'vi!" The bullets shot up again, they were further than before but were still within reach of hitting one of you. You were all sprinting moving where you could and ducking behind trees. It just seemed like they wouldn't stop. So your only option was to keep running. The only way was to keep going and sheltering the girl from any stray gunshots as it seemed they were now firing in a different direction now. Still sprinting as Lo'ak was leading you and the girl he turned behind a tree. "Go, go, go! Come on, come on. Let's go!" Lo'ak was still frantic as you and his sister were slightly behind him still trying to keep up. Turning another corner with Lo'ak now you got spooked and almost landed on your ass as two Na'vi jumped in front of you. "Hey, are you hurt? Are you hurt?" He touched Lo'ak's shoulder, "No I'm okay."

"Tuk, Tuk are you alright?" He sounded so frantic as he reached out and gave her a hug. It happened so fast as he hugged her not seeing you while she whimpered in his arms. "Daddy!" The other Na'vi with him did see you and had his bow at the ready. "Wait stop!" Lo'ak stepped in front blocking his way. "Move brother, she's one of them." You were thankful to Lo'ak for stepping in but considering how this looked you doubted they would listen as the other older Na'vi male had now taken notice of you. "Look she helped us run, right Tuk?" He looked at the girl in her dad's arms and motioned for her to back him up. She gave a small reply, "She did." The boy lowered his bow as the older male gave him a look of approval and you stood there awkwardly.

"Do you know where they are?" The older male asked you as he crept forward. "No, but the aircraft is close so they might've fallen back." You answered fast and right to the point, he started walking back the way you came from so that the aircraft was in sight. As you all watched you could see they had captured the human Spider, you felt bad and looked away noticing the looks of frustration on all of their faces. The roaring sound of the aircraft faded quickly, "Okay we're clear."

An arrow ticked your ear, you didn't know how much of your ear was gone as you stared in shock. There was a female Na'vi with her bow drawn she was going to kill you, you had no doubt she would've had Lo'ak not stepped in front of you, guarding you a second time. "Mom!" The girl you knew as Tuk ran towards the Na'vi and tried embracing her. "Mom wait she helped me escape!" You could still feel her stare as she lowered her bow and self to hug the small girl. As she held Tuk her anger seemed to dissipate. Everyone seemed to breathe and you watched from the edge as the family began to recuperate together. The eldest male embraced both boys who you presumed were both his sons. It was a sweet gesture. It was also a beautiful sight to behold a loving family hugging as the other Na'vi girl also hugged her mother. "Oh thank you, great mother! Thank you..."

Lo'ak tore his face away from his father, glancing at you quickly before noticing someone was missing. "Where's Spider?" One of the girls turned around, she looked as if she were about to cry as she spoke, "They took him." She was distraught and had worry plastered along her face. "They took him." Anger was now arising in her as she looked towards the eldest male. Her teeth were clenched as he embraced her, "It's okay, it's okay baby girl. Alright, he's a tough kid." She started to sob in his arms, you could sense her seething anger. "He's gonna be okay. We're all going to be okay." He held her so gently, it made your heart melt. They were such a sweet family, you were glad you made the decision to help them.
