He didn't kiss you until you were sick of it but rather until you were tired. Your eyelids had started to droop longer and it was hard to open your eyes again. They were so heavy and it was getting late. You lazily accepted his hand of help when he offered and sluggishly made your way to bed. Neteyam gave you a light peck on the cheek before letting go of your hand and fixing you into bed. "Wait." You reached your arms up quietly and brought his face close again. "Yes, Tanhì?" You gave him another silent kiss. It was dark in the Marui, the only light source was from the bottom opening for the fish net or Neteyam's freckles.

"Still not sick of kissing me yet?" You gave a hushed hmm, smiling at him and definitely liking the view.  "Not even close." He moved up and pecked your forehead. "Then I'll have to try again later." You didn't know what had gotten into you both tonight but you liked it. The giddy feels in your stomach made your face respond with smiling like a fool. "I look forward to seeing you try and tackle that task oh, mighty warrior Neteyam." The nickname was one you'd heard often and you knew when he heard it he would gladly take on the challenge. And if there was any other give away it would be his dismission of it. "Goodnight Tanhì." You smiled as his hand lingered on your arm while he left to his own hammock.  Once he was safely in you peacefully went to bed, letting your eyes shut and your tiredness win over.

You awoke to ilu calls and your own senses, rising up you expected the others to already be out and about like usual. However you heard a snore that showed the family sound asleep still. You looked out to see if you were truly the only one up to see that Lo'ak's hammock was empty. You didn't know if that was a good or a bad thing, your gut was telling you not great. You double check the Marui to see if you maybe missed his body somewhere only to get distracted. Very distracted by Neteyam's sleeping face. It was not often you saw Neteyam's face fully relaxed, you brushed a braid from his face behind his ear. Caressing his adorable face in the process, he leaned into your touch subconsciously. His relieved facial expression was captivating but also brought your attention back to finding Lo'ak who was the cause of most of his family's stress. It hurt you to leave and not stay to continue watching his blissful expression. Nonetheless if you wanted him to stay worry free, finding Lo'ak would be a good start.

You checked around the home first, seeing if he was close, he wasn't. You huffed as you ventured into the waking village, annoyed at Lo'ak's adventurous morning. You knew Lo'ak had to be somewhere in the village, his parents had told you all you couldn't go in the Ocean until they were up and knew where you were going. Although the more you tried remembering Lo'ak following the rules your memories tracked to him doing the opposite. You sighed as you knew if he was disobeying rules you'd have to be the one to tell Mr. Sully. Not that he needed anything more to worry about, or yourself. You were already feeling your appetite loss by just thinking of that person's name. Quaritch, it sent a cool down your spine and a foul taste in your mouth. You just wanted to be rid of him, why'd he have to be so headstrong and unforgiving.

Your hands balled into fists, you were starting to move on from feeling helpless and more frustrated than anything. Your nose twitched as you recollected his stupid face. You wanted to make him back off or just drop dead, he had no purpose being here aside from trying to kill some of the people you called family. You knew, if push came to shove you would do anything to keep each and everyone of them safe. "(Y/N)?" You were snapped out of your violent thoughts by the exact person your attention should've been focused on. "Ah, Lo'ak, there you are." He looked confused as he approached you with dried thread. "What are you doing up this early?" It was obvious he was poking fun at your horrid sleep schedule as it was something Kiri and him often teased you about. "Looking for a troublesome Omatikaya boy." If he was going to poke fun at you it was only natural to snip back.
