Kiri and Tuk weren't far off when you joined them, you were swimming next to them on your ilu as Tuk remained with Kiri. 'Did you already warn the Tulkun?' You did your best to sign to Tuk while riding your ilu, of course, you could have waited to ask when Kiri went up for water right after you asked. Catching your breath again, although it still felt like you were underwater under the rain. "Come back!" You heard yelling coming from the village, which was closer than you expected. At first, your eyes landed on the beach, there on the edge sat Ku'uu. He looked small and lonely, you were about to excuse yourself knowing Kiri and Tuk were headed home when one of them spotted someone. "There's Lo'ak! Lo'ak." At first, Tuk was waving and trying to say hi but as you turned further you saw four other ilu's all following the one Kiri and Tuk had their eyes on. "Lo'ak!" You knew Lo'ak was up to trouble when he didn't listen to Kiri's cry. "Lo'ak's going to find Payakan."

Of course he was, you should have known. "Wait, up!" You quickly moved as Kiri tried getting her brother to pause. Seeing Neteyam dive down you followed quickly behind him. "Hold on." You wanted to protest Kiri bringing Tuk along and even coming herself but you were already a part of the chase. You could barely see Lo'ak now, the coral was very populated in the reef. But Lo'ak was headed outside the reef, out in the open. You were scared, the feeling of something going wrong today had stayed with you even after hearing the news about Ronal's Tulkun Roa. It was still there when you realized you had been a role in these senseless killings. You watched as Lo'ak passed the shallows still with more distance between the group than you'd like. If Lo'ak was going to Payaka he was going to Three Brother's Rocks, you wished you had learned the way the first time you'd been. Instead, you were blindly following Lo'ak, you wished he wasn't so stubborn maybe he wouldn't be putting you all in this much danger.

But then again, he was trying to save a life. One he had bonded with and knew. Paykan, that was this Tulkun's name. You didn't know whether to think of this creature as the killer the village thought him out to be or Lo'ak's spirit brother, in a sense he was both. By now Three Brother's Rocks had to be close, the ride was taking forever. You needed this to be a quick check-up and have everyone get back safe and sound. As you saw the rocks you felt slightly relieved that this would all soon be over, you were convincing yourself Quaritch wasn't near and was far off. "Lo'ak!"

Tsireya had been trying to get Lo'ak to stop. "Wait!" So had Neteyam, you stayed silent following him, you knew he wouldn't listen. In the distance, you could see Payakan as you dive. ilu's were fast and you were so thankful for that, this would be a quick... You watched as Lo'ak moved onto Payakan with a fast leap and scrambled further.  Your heart dropped at seeing red. "Lo'ak." Neteyam was the first to reach Lo'ak and Payakan, jumping on. "Bro, come on! Help me out!" Lo'ak was pulling at the tracker as Ao'nung tried climbing up. "Hurry the ships coming." You pull up in the water next to Payakan, holy shit they were here. You pushed Ao'nung up and were met with a hand extended to you. "Bro, come on." You took Neteyam's hand and started gathering with the others to the tracker to pull it off. "Bro," Lo'ak was panicking you knew but so were you, once you placed your hands on that tracker you felt more guilty about who your father was. "Come on, bro." Lo'ak's remarks weren't helping with getting the tracker out but it kept you on task.

You were trying to push with your feet while you held the edge of the tracker, stretching out your whole body to try and get it out. "Hurry!" You hadn't seen the ship yet but hearing the panic in Tsireya's voice was what made you try pulling even harder. "Call it in." At this point, you were just listening to the chaos and doing the most work. "Call Dad." You were yanking it, trying to maybe wiggle it loose, anything really, anything would work. "Call Dad! Just go! Do it! Just do it." Neteyam while yelling at his brother single-handedly pulled him up and then shoved him up. You moved to his spot, hoping to find a better angle and get this thing out so you could all run. "Dad. I mean, Devil Dog. Do you read me?" Rotxo, Kiri, and Tuk all came on as Tsireya yelled something in a panic. "It's Eagle Eye, do you copy?" You pulled again, your body half out and half in the water. Dad!" At least Mr. Sully had heard Lo'ak.
