Arriving in what they called High Camp was an experience. You had only seen Ikran's from afar so being pulled up onto one and flying high into the air was tense. You rode with the eldest male and Lo'ak, you took up the rear and held on to the male for dear life. It was a smooth fly-up but still fast and unknown to you. You kept your eyes closed most of the time, just trying to focus on not falling off. But hearing Lo'ak give out a small snicker you finally opened your eyes.
Seeing the Hallelujah Mountains from a Kestrel versus an Ikran was something you just couldn't explain. It took your breath away so fast, you could only look in awe around you. The stunning mountains were right next to you so close that you could touch them. You could reach your hand out to the hard surface. You knew better than that but were still tempted. That was until you saw a waterfall ahead, seeing it you adjusted your hands on who you presumed at this point was Mr. Sully. Reaching one hand out and touching the water. It was brief and yet so exhilarating. You smiled and looked forward, you then looked over at the other Ikran riders. They both had passengers as well, one had Kiri and the other carried Tuk. You gave Tuk a smile as you both made eye contact and she smiled back.
A sharp turn made you grab ahold of Mr. Sully again. This time you were sure to keep both hands on Mr. Sully. Going up and landing was smooth and finally, you were able to touch the ground. Immediately Mr. Sully motioned for you. "Come." You followed quickly setting your pace to match his. Walking into the camp was less than ideal. Your clothes were what gave you away, you had taken off all of your equipment and given it to Mr. Sully but you were still in your camo. You learned very quickly that the Na'vi did not dress the way you did. After looking around a bit amazed by their way of life you started to wonder where you were being taken. "Umm, Sir?" Mr. Sully looked at you gesturing you to continue. "I'm just wondering where we are going exactly." He nodded before he spoke, "I'm trying to find a Marui to put you in." You had no idea what he just said. "A what?" He gave you a small look, "oh-uh sorry. A what, sir?" He then pointed to the tents in the area, you formed your mouth in an O-shape now understanding what he meant.
Your small walk with Mr. Sully ended in you being put into a very small Marui. It looked more like it was being used for storage and yet as if someone had lived in it. You quickly looked around as Mr. Sully gave you a quick, "stay here, I'll be back in one second." You noticed all of the Na'vi baskets stored in the small Marui touching one you looked inside of it, it was empty but you could tell it had been used to its fullest potential as a hole clear as day was at the bottom. You looked around more before noticing a hammock in the back, you climbed over a few things to get to it. Feeling the hammock you admired the craftsmanship, you didn't know much about how to make a hammock but you could tell much care was taken into making it. It made you wonder who it was for, certain, it wasn't meant for someone like you. You were an outsider, someone who was the enemy just a few hours ago. So much had changed and it was only just now hitting you now.
What was going to happen to you now? Could you even be accepted among the people? Would they give you refuge? What if they were deciding on what to do with you right now? Mr. and Mrs. Sully didn't exactly say much about the situation. They just looked at each other before giving you a glance. They just told you to follow and like a naive child, you did as you were told. Going along without asking many questions. You had started to notice this pattern in your life, you tended to just go wherever someone told you. Maybe it was a characteristic passed to you from the girl, maybe it was you forging your own path. Either way, you were here now and this was going to be your new life.
"Umm..." You heard someone clearing their throat, turning around there was Mr. Sully again back just as he told you. "Here, these are some clothes." He handed some items to you, and as you started to untangle the clothes you noticed how revealing they were. Your eyes widened at the revealing top. "Look I know this isn't ideal for you, and you'll probably struggle with culture shock but this will help you adjust here. It will help you fit in with the people."
