You smacked whatever was behind you out of reflex. "Ow!" You regretted it after as you realized you'd just hit Lo'ak in the face. "Lo'ak, what they hell?" Though you felt bad, you had still been scared shitless moments ago. "Be quiet!" You had been talking in a hushed tone, well except for when you screamed. But you listened to him and didn't say a word as Tsireya came up next. You helped pull her up silently, trying to get her legs hidden from sight. As you did the lights that had been just passing the pod started to brighten. "Tuk, stay close to me." As it crept closer everyone started to get antsy. "It is coming!" You held Tuk's hand. "We gotta go!" You all looked at each other, pulling your bodies up as you breathed in.

You let go of Tuk's hand as you all submerged underwater, you pushed her forward to give her momentum and get her out of the way faster. Which sent you back a ways, closer to the crab suit that was closer than you'd expected. You turned around fast and swam faster. You kept your eyes on Tuk, Tisreya had grabbed her arm to make sure she was keeping up. You all swam in fear, moving your limbs as fast and as hard as you possibly could. Maybe ditching your ilu's wasn't as great of an idea as you thought now that you were slower than before and the machines were close to snatching you. Tsireya then turned left all nervously, you didn't see it at first but when you looked right you saw another suit closing in. You moved with the group quickly, kicking harder to follow behind. You took a look back to try and see where the suit before was when you saw a net heading your way.

It was actually already touching you and collapsing around you. You struggled to turn around in the net and try and push Tuk out but she was already encased with you. So was Tsireya, you all struggled in the net, your foot got looped in one of the holes as you tried pushing Tuk out of the net. Tsireya was trying with you as they panicked, Lo'ak was helping too but the net was floating around and making things complicated. You would try and move Tuk only to have the stupid net block your view and then it started to move differently. Like it was being pulled, it was being pulled. You had kept yourself together for the most part during the race but when you caught a glimpse of the Ikran above you and the person on this you choked on water. Your air bubbles blocked your view but when you initially looked but you knew it was him. He had you now trapped, he had Tsireya, he had Tuk. You looked at Tuk fear was in her eyes as she was looking at Lo'ak who was outside the net, good. coming out of the water you caught your breath first as you had lost it. "Hold on!" The only left to hold onto was the net and you were fighting with it as all three of you weighed down to the bottom.

"Lo'ak!" You scrambled around in the net, finally getting your foot lose and noticing he already had his knife out, his new knife. "Let me out!" You pulled out your knife too, "Watch out!" While Lo'ak cut his side you started on the other as the whole net was too unbalanced. "Tuk, move!" She moved closer to your right, you moved to the best of your ability to keep your knife away from hitting Tuk. "Careful!" You could see Tuk moving closer to you and wanted to warn her. "Move your hand! Move your hand!" You were cutting down in the best line you could but the rope was hard to cut through. "(Y/N) cut it!" You moved your arm with more force, using all those knife lessons Neteyam had taught you. "Hurry, hurry!" With both you and Lo'ak cutting at the net your chances of escape were looking good.

"Come on!" You knew screaming wasn't helping you cut anyfaster but it was helping your mind calm down. Quaritch was right above you and you needed to get everyone out, now. "Cut faster!" Tuk was also screaming, everyone was, no one was safe. "Hurry, hurry Lo'ak!" You were making a good sized hole now, but when you looked where you were you were almost above the ship. "Lo'ak!" You tried still cutting but you were also looking over your shoulder. "Lo'ak let go!" You tried getting him to escape before you were all trapped there, you also had made a hole big enough for maybe Tuk to leave. As you moved you grabbed Tuk, harsher than you would have liked but you tried moving her first. "(Y/N)!" You were trying to shove Tuk out. "Shit, shit, shit!" Lo'ak was still hanging on as you glanced back. "Loak! Let go!" It was about to be too late for either of them.
