***Chapter 1***
The bell sounded and I went ape shit. I stormed out of that hell hole, also known as the classroom. I blindly trampled a couple guys, not even caring enough to turn around and apologize because I literally hated school so much that I had to get out of here. I couldn't wait for another second. I said goodbye to Marie, because she was literally the only friend I had there.
You see, I don't go to a normal hgih school. I attend a boys sports school in London, though hopefully, you've recognised I am a girl. How I got into that school? My mum complained, mainly for the reason that there were no other sports schools in our area. Sometimes I think she wanted this more than I did, which instantly made me feel extremely guilty. Itried my hardest regardless because In knew I had to go to college. I was hoping t get a scholarship at University of Dublin for football.
I felt sort of guilty to be so relieved that my time at this place of constant excersizing was over. I was happy to be able to kick back for once. Other than the fact that we were alway moving at my school, the other reason I honestly didn't enjoy at all was only having one friend. Marie, my only friend, and only other girl that attends this school is the only one that ever talks to me. Occasionally, during football or basketball season, some courageous boys would congratulate me on scoring or something. Usually it was never more than that.
All the boys there seemed to be intimidated or annoyed by Marie and I. Probably both.
I got lost in my thoughts, thinking too much about the place that I never really wanted to go back too. I exited the school for a final time and literally ran home.
We already had graduation, so I didn't need to worry about coming back for any of that stuff. I was indiffernt about the idea of visiting my Uncle, because I only see him on special occasions. I was mainly happy that high school was finally over.
When I had reached my front door, I unlocked it with my key. I ran upstairs and grabbed my suitcases for my summer stay. I found my mum in the kitchen, reading a magazine article about some Boy band. My mum usually does this to piss me off. Oh well. I snatched the magazine out of her hand and she yelled at me.
"Hey!" He she said in a joking manner.
"What losers." I snort, eyeing the five boys on the cover. "They are probably stuck up and obviously can't sing."
"Good, they're too old for you anyway." She said as a joke.
"Mum, I'm almost 19." I told her sternly, but she rolled her eyes. "Ok, I'm leaving now. I can't wait any longer!" Our apartment was in the outskirts of london, and it was about a 2 hour drive to where he lived in the heart if the city. I gave her a huge hug and a kiss.
"Have fun!" she said. I grabbed the keys to my car off of the counter and left through the front door for the summer.
I piled my bags in the back of my pickup truck and put the key in the ignition. I turned on the radio, and to no surprise, a song by that boy band came on. I groaned and immeadiately turned the station.
The 2 hour drive didn't feel too long, but when I arrived it was almost dark. I double, even triple checked the address before I drove up the driveway. At the end, I found an enormous house. There was a gate blocking the entrance to the driveway, so I couldn't get any closer to the house. I almost thought I was at the wrong house, when a tall boy with luscious curls walked out of the front door. He saw my car and waved over to me. Ok, now I was positive that I was at the wrong house.
I parked my car where it was and got out. I walked up to the gate and put my hands on the metal bars.
"Hello!" He yelled jogging over to meet me on the other side of the gate.
"Sorry, do I know you?" I asked this stranger. As he got closer I noticed he looked vaguely familiar. He had Emerald green eyes that captivated all my attention. I had to force myself to lose eye contact with him so that I could hear what he had to say.
"Are you Drew?" He asked, giving me a dimpled smiled.
"Yes, and now that you know my name, might I ask, what is yours?" I asked getting kind of aggravated. He could probably hear the annoyance in my voice, because he adopted a huge smirk.
"I'm Harry. C'mon through, love." He said typing in a code on a key pad that opened up the gate. I climbed into my truck and pulled up to the front of the house. I unloaded my bags and Harry helped me carry them inside. He seemed nice enough, but he also gave the impression of a flirt. As we walked up the front steps, I gave him a friendly warning.
"For future reference, don't call me love. That is, if you fancy your curls." I said gesturing to his hair. He gasped but gave me a huge smirk.
"You wouldn't dare cut off my curls, love." He said, teasing me. He held open the door for me and gestured for me to walk inside. The entrance hall was huge and it was unlike any room I had ever seen. It was so fancy, almost like a castle. It had one staircase on either side of the room, both leading up to the second level, which I assumed were bedrooms.
"This is Paul's house, right? He is my uncle. I've never been to his house before." I said to Harry and he nodded.
"I will go put your bags up in your room, love. The third door on the left. I think you will find your uncle in the kitchen," He said gesturing down a hallway. I nodded and gave him a slight smile.
"Thanks," I said quietly.
"No problem, love," he said giving me a cheeky wink. Who does he think he is? I rolled my eyes and walked down the corridor he pointed to. This house was huge compared to my small two-bedroom apartment back home that I shared with my mum. I wandered aimlessly until I heard talking. I continued in the direction of the voices and opened a door to find my uncle and a boy with shaggy brown hair. They both turned to look at me and a smile crept onto the boy's face. He held his hand out politely, in kind of a creepy way.
"Hello, I'm Louis!" He greeted as I nervously shook his hand.
"And I'm throughly creeped out." I barely said.
"Well that's a weird name. I thought you were Drew." He said. How do they even know my name. Can they stop.
"Yeah, it's Drew." I said. My gaze transferred to my uncle who stood there with a smile on his face. I walked over and gave him a hug as he kissed me on the cheek.
"Paul!" I said letting go of him. "How are you?"
"Just great. You've changed so much, Drew. You're a young lady." He said. Typical uncle stuff. I hate that shit.
"Who are they?" I asked gesturing to Louis and Harry who had now joined us in the kitchen. Get over it, I'm rude at first. You'll get used to it.
He chuckled. "Drew, I'm One Direction's Body Guard. They are staying here this summer as well."
