***Chapter 12***

Recap: Suddenly, Louis grabbed my arm and was dragging me towards Wardrobe and Makeup. “Sorry, hun. You have no choice.” He said and I groaned.

“Lou..” I started with an annoyed tone of voice. I was surprised when a female voice answered me.

“Yes?” Someone said. I looked over to find a pretty girl with platinum blonde hair and green eyes. What’s up with people and green eyes around here?

“Drew, this is Lou.” Louis introduced me and laughed slightly, considering it rhymed, then turned to her. “She’s the main girl.”

Lou nodded and smiled at me. “It’s nice to meet you, Drew. What happened to Adelaide?” She asked Louis.

“Food poisoning.” Lou nodded in understanding and grabbed my forearm. “C’mon, let’s go get you ready.” She pulled me to the back of the room where there were too many racks of clothes to count. I saw one that had football jerseys and athletic shorts. I saw another that had a wide variety of dresses. I think I’ll keep to the jerseys.

Lou pulled out a tight looking black dress. I blinked very slowly at her. Are you kidding me? Not in a million years would I wear that. Lou must’ve read my mind, because she put on her puppy dog face.

“No way,” I said putting my back to her and looking through the football uniforms. She took hold of my shoulders, turning me back around, practically begging. “Look, that’s not gonna happen in a million years.”

A million years later, I was in that tight black dress I swore I would never wear. Actually, it was probably like half an hour later, but whatever. Lou had matched this black number with a pair of black heels, and I was almost 100% positive I would fall and break my face.

“Will I have to wear this the whole time?” I asked pulling the dress down a little.

“No, we have two other outfits for you. One for the city street and one for the football scene.” She said. At the word football, my face light up. I really love football. “But before any of that, we need to get you to hair and makeup.” She said dragging me again by the forearm.

She sat me down in a director’s chair at a makeup table and made me look straight in the mirror.  She starched the skin by my eyes, massaging my temples shortly after. “Wow, you have like perfect cheek bones.” She said and I chuckled. That’s probably the only perfect thing I have. I didn’t protest to her putting makeup on me because I didn’t wasn’t to have to have a fight over this like I did with the dress.

Almost instantly, she started to get to work. She called someone over to straighten my naturally wavy hair as she applied makeup to my eyes. I opened and closed my eyes on command, and if I do say so myself, I think I did a pretty good job at it. Lou then moved onto putting a pale red lipstick on my lips. She backed away looking at me in approval. I felt the other person finishing up straightening my hair and I gasped. That all happened in a matter of like 10 minutes.

“Wow, Lou. That must be a new record.” I said slightly chuckling. I stood up from the chair and Lou led me to a mirror. I gasped at my own reflection. My eyes were outlined, making my green orbs pop immensely. My hair was the straightest it’s ever been, and to be honest I kind of liked it.
