***Chapter 22***

It’s amazing how close Josh and I have got in three days. And Niall, of course. But Niall and I have always been close. And I assume it’s the same with Josh and him. We were like…the trio. Yeah, I like the sound of that.

Pretty much every day since the prank we pulled on Josh, we’ve been inseparable. Usually, it started when I got bored the day after the prank so I kind of just knocked on his door, looking for company. It was awkward at first, because we didn’t really know that much about each other, but the more we hung out, the more we discovered how similar we were.

We both love pulling pranks. Both of our parents are divorced. We both love football. We both love making fun of Niall. We both play/played drums. We both hate makeup and prissy girls. It’s official, we’re twins.

            Even though we’re different ages. I’m practically 18, I don’t know about you, but Josh’s feeling 22.

            Ha, good one, loser.

            Wow I’m talking to myself.

Anyway, ever since the day I showed up at Josh’s doorstep, I’ve been learning the drums from stage one. Ok, maybe not stage one, I still remember a lot of the basics. All Josh teaches me are the songs he plays for all of the boy’s gigs. I never really expected to like one direction music (actually, I used to hate it), but I’m getting used to it now.

Some of their songs aren’t bad, like One Way Or Another. Even though they didn’t exactly write it, uh, whatever.

Right now I’m at Josh’s with Niall. I bang on the drums like there’s no tomorrow while Niall plays the guitar part for Last First Kiss. Josh, who’s actually a terrible singer, tried to keep up with us on the vocals.

“I WANNA BE LAST, YEAH, BABY LET ME YOUR, LET ME BE YOUR LAST FIRST KISS. I WANNA BE FIRST YEAH, WANNA BE THE FIRST TO TAKE YOU ALL THE WAY LIKE THIS!” Josh scream sings into his hair brush. I groan and stop playing the drums.

“Josh, you’re like 10 seconds behind. And you sound like a dying walrus. Leave the singing to Niall.” I said and he frowned.

“But I don’t know how to play guitar. It’s not really my groove.” He protested.

“You’re groove?” I asked, trying to keep from laughing.

“Yeah, I play the drums, not guitar.” He says, blind to the laughter I was about to burst out in.

“You’re groove?” I repeat, this time fully exploding with laughter. Niall does the same. Josh just stands there, completely confused. How oblivious can you get.

“Guys, I think I’m dying.” Niall says changing the subject completely. Josh and I look at each other, and then look at him.

            “Um wot.”

“I’m starving.” Niall says, falling off his chair and on to the floor in a fetal position. Uhm, can you say drama queen.

“I second that!” I shout. Come to think of it, I am actually pretty hungry. But, when am I not.

            “Who’s buying?” Josh asks.

            “Not it.” Niall says.

            “Not it.” Josh says.
