***Chapter 25***
We end up eating dinner with the whole gang, even Josh and Paul were there.
And let me tell you this. Never eat Louis’s specialty pasta.
Apparently, specialty means uncooked with salsa instead of tomato sauce. It’s disgusting.
“Yeah, Louis’s not a very…trusted cook.” Niall told me as we walked up stairs after dinner.
“I see that now.” I say. I can still taste the horrendous flavors in my mouth as I swallow once more, trying to make it disappear. It doesn’t work.
We both reach the top of the stairs at the same time. We turn to face each other.
“Movie night?” I ask him as he immediately nods, agreeing to my suggestion. I retreat to my room behind me as Niall does the same and turns into his room to get changed.
I quickly pull on a pair of gray sweats and a tank top, not bothering to change into something more presentable. I really don’t care. I slip on my black classic Uggs, considering they’re super warm. That’s the only reason I bought them. I brush through my hair and just let it fall down my back and it eventually stops at a little higher than my waist. I brush my teeth quickly and plug in my phone as I walk back out into the hallway to meet Niall.
Instead, I run into Harry.
“Where are you going?” Harry asked, as he saw me walk out of my room. “It’s nearly 10.”
“Movie night.” Is all I say, jabbing my thumb in the direction of the screening room.
“YAY! What movie is it?” Harry jumps up and down like a five year old. First of all, you weren’t even invited, and second of all, your energy annoys me.
“Uh, I don’t know yet. Niall’s picking one out.” I tell him, shrugging with my words. I watch as a peek of jealousy flashes across Harry’s features. Any trace of that emotion disappears in a millisecond as he dashes to him room to change into his pajamas.
“Be down in a couple minutes!” I hear him shout as I make my way down the stairs.
I stop quickly in the kitchen, grabbing two bags of popcorn and popping them in the microwave. I pour them each in separate bowls, one for me, one for Niall.
I head to the screening room on the other side of the house and find Niall and Harry already there. I hand Niall the second bowl of popcorn as I take a seat in the third of four rows of movie theater seats.
“Did you decide on a movie?” I ask the boys. Niall comes and takes a seat to my left, while Harry claims the one on the right.
“Yes.” They said in unison. And to be honest, it kind of creeped me out.
“Well are you going to tell me?” I say, getting anxious.
“You’ll find out.” Harry says with a devilish smirk. Man, do I hate surprises.
When the main menu comes up, I discover what movie it is, to my displeasure.
“NO!” I say almost immeadiately. “No, no, no, no, no, no, no, NOOOO.” I complain, dragging out the last one. “We are not watching the Notebook.”
