"Are you really going to Africa with them?" Kat asked me. I was laying on her floor while she did her makeup. I had to leave the house in thirty minutes.

"Yes Lat," I laughed sitting up. "Someone has to look after your boyfriend and his goof." She laughed turning to me.

"Are you sure it isn't just for your benefit?" She wiggled her eyebrows at me. Nate and I have been texting each other for several days now. The boys had this trip planned before the Cerro Gordo one so it was close together. Which was perfect.

"Just make sure they don't get kidnapped. You can't help them doing stupid shit," Kat turned serious. I laughed standing up next to her chair. I pulled my chapstick out of my pocket.

"They will be fine," I told her turning on the taser. It wasn't chapstick. She squealed and almost fell out of her chair.

"Lily!" She yelled smacking my arm. I pouted and stepped back gripping my dead arm.

"I am only using it for the protection of your golden retriever! Jesus!" I yelled at her. Someone was coming up the stairs.

"You are so going to hurt yourself with that!" She stood up with her hand out. "Give it to me, for your own safety." She moved her fingers back and forth. I scoffed and stuck it in my pocket slowly sliding closer and closer to the door. "Lily! Ann! Bowers!" I yanked the door open running down the stairs. I was in socks so it didn't go well since the stairs were wood. I ended up tripping down the last four stairs and sliding across the floor. That hurt my fucking shoulder.

"What the hell are you both doing!" Sam yelled as I slid my feet under me.

"Hey Sam," I smiled pushing myself up and scrambling behind him. I saw the front door was open and Nate and Justin were standing there. Kat appeared at the top of the stairs pointing at me. I kinda felt like I was five and in trouble.

"Sam, she has a taser!" Kat yelled. I opened my mouth looking at her.

"I do not!" I countered hiding behind his back. Nate just laughed walking in. Colby ran into the room as well.

"Dude, what was that thud?" He asked alarmed.

"Oh, just lily flying from the second-story staircase." Sam looked at me over his shoulder sighing.

"I landed softly," I winced.

"I heard it from the garage," Colby rubbed his forehead.

"Where is the taser?" Sam asked turning to me. I pointed upstairs.

"I dropped it when I was running for my life," I said nervously as Kat laughed.

"Fine then, let me just go to your room and-" She turned around.

"No! Kat!" I tried to run as I slid across the floor. We really should get some rugs or something. If their is an intruder and I am wearing socks we are dead. "You know I don't like people in my room!" I took the stairs two at a time.

"Be careful!" Nate yelled as I laughed.

"Do you really want the taser that bad?" I asked her as she stood there at the door to my room. Her hand wrapped around the knob. I pulled it out turning it on.

"Hey!" Kat yelled pointing her hand at me.

"Look it doesn't even hurt," I told her gently bringing my finger toward it. She reached forward yanking my hand back as I was shocked. "Ah!" I yelped shaking my hand out. "Oh, I am keeping this." I winced looking over at her.

"Lily, you are going to be the death of me," She pulled me into a hug as the boys came upstairs.

"Did you tase her?" Sam asked. I shook my head and so did Kat.
