The amount of pain that was spreading through the family and friends of Rurín was taking its toll but none more than when Wàyenda returned with her mistress letters and discovered that she could not be found anywhere. The beautiful white raven refused to settle down, screeching loudly and crowing in a way that made the Durín's wonder if she were crying.

Wàyenda kept screaming a 'no!' 'Where!' 'Ruru!' For she was a very intelligent raven, born from the ravens that used to dwell in Erebor, the few that followed Durín's children when they were forced from the mountain.

Orí tried to calm her down, try to reassure her but it was no use, the dam accidentally let her escape Rurín's room where Thorín had wrangled her into to keep her from crying loudly in the corridors on her search for her mistress. Orí felt terrible over it because of how hard it was to catch her the first time. She had only intended to feed her, not let her out.

The white raven soar through the corridor once more, crowing louder and louder and cawing for 'Ruru'

"Damn it, Orí!" Thorín snapped at her. He did not mean to take his frustration out on his namad's best friend but he was under a lot of pressure and was exhausted from his search.

"I'm s-sorry!" She stuttered, chasing after the bird.

Several dwarrows joined in the hunt trying to capture her again but to no avail.

Dwalín whistled loudly bringing the dwarves to a standstill after flinging the doors to the throne room open. He was trying to conduct a new plan to find Rurín and ALL this bluster was halting his thinking process. "ITKIT (Silence!) I CANNA THINK!"

Wàyenda flew down and landed on his shoulder and he immediately caressed her under the beak. "Ruru!" She crowed.

"We will find 'er, Wàyenda," Dwalín said to her softly. The raven nuzzled him behind the ear. Several dwarves blinked.

"And you didn't help me with her!" Thorín exclaimed.

Dwalín merely shrugged at him and turned on his heel back into the throne room with the raven still perched on his shoulder.

Thorín closed the doors behind him, ignoring the fact that Dwalín let him run around like a damn fool yesterday trying to catch his namad's stupid bird.

They quickly jumped into planning once more. Going over all the facts and precarious development. Thorín had finally gotten the evidence he needed to have Lord Hafkîa arrested. Under the guise that it was because of the theft. His servant came forward at last and Norí discovered a little dwarfling allegedly having heard Lord Hafkîa that night talking with his guard when they broke into the food storage. The same little boy had heard them mentioning Lady Rurín's name and something about finer details and running off.

It was enough for Thorín to gather that they had something to do with her disappearance. He sent Dwalín, Kafdân, and Mòlun to arrest Lord Hafkîa.
