"I said no!"
The door slammed in her face. Not wanting to hear another word of it. Not another damn word about a quest to slay a dragon!
She shoved the door back open and threw her book at his head. "You can not keep me here, Dorí!"
Dorí growled and picked her book up, shoving it at her chest and knocking the breath from her. "I will not lose you the way we lost Ma, Orí!"
Hazel eyes heated up like fire and turned to look at her best friend. Rurín rubbed her neck, looking uncomfortable. Norí stormed into the room.
"She's already signed!" He snapped at him. Dorí gaped, making a noise in the back of his throat. "She has signed! I will go with her! Come on, Dorí. Do not make her an oath breaker because you've forgotten what living means."
"Being a wandering thief is not living!" Dorí snarled.
"What is life without a little risk!" Norí cried, grabbing Dorí by his tunic. "She is not a child anymore, Nadad. You can not shelter her forever."
"She's all we have left!" Dorí screamed at him. "SHE IS EVERYTHING TO ME!"
"Dorí," Orí's voice was hoarse like she had something stuck in her throat. Her nose stung and tears welped. "Dorí... I need to do this."
"She will be Queen someday," Rurín spoke up. Dorí looked at her with watery eyes. "You are from a bastard line of the Durín's that had been cut. Dorí... She has to go. Or she will never be accepted as Fíli's chosen partner in this life and the next."
"I can not let you..." Dorí took Orí in his arms. Tears streamed down his ruddy cheeks.
"Do--"
"So, I will go with you," He said quietly.
Rurín smiled, looking at Bofur and Bifur. They cheered only to shut up from the angry glare they received from Dorí.
"How long have you been scheming with Orí and Norí?" He asked her. Rurín shrugged, an innocent smile upon her lips.
"I have no idea what you speak of, Dorí. I am only guilty of having them there at the wrong place, wrong time."
He growled under his breath.
"Dorí?"
He looked at her again.
"I am glad to have you join us. I'll let Thorín know as soon as I get home."

Rurín came into the front room, grabbed her husband by his tunic, and hauled him away from the group and towards the room, they would be staying in. As soon as the door clicked shut, she faced him and began taking her clothes off. He leaned against the door, a cheeky grin on his face.
"On ma knees?" He asked.
She had a glint in her eyes. "Yes, I feel rather neglected. I think a few kisses would make it better."
He picked her up by the hips and tossed her onto the small bed, dropping to his knees and yanking her pants down in one go.
"Aye... I can see you have been..."
The Dwarves in the front room looked at each other and snorted in laughter. "We should play a little louder," Thorín chuckled.
"They've been parted for two months, I am surprised she didn't jump him the moment she saw him," Norí crackled.
"Ah... Come on," Fíli groaned. Kíli made a disgusted face.
"Don't even act surprised mister Cream and Berries."
