Bilba watched the company prepare for the night, it was on a cropping cliff that gave them a good advantaging point. Rurín had mentioned something about a downpour about to make an appearance and the journey tougher. So she was made to sit aside for the night. Some were finding places for their bedrolls or clearing debris away.
Balín had waved her over to the pack ponies and helped unload the extra supplies to rearrange so it might last through the spring showers for tomorrow.
Rurín was in the process of chopping the vegetables that she and Bilba saw were edible throughout the day. Everyone was to be doing something to get camp in order. Bofur was arranging a ring of stones for a fire pit while her brother Bombur pulled out pots and spoons to begin dinner preparation.
Kíli and Fíli returned to camp not long after a pot of water had been put on the fire, carrying a doe on their shoulders. The dwarves cheered at the sight of it. Bombur immediately began cleaning it.
Rurín was about to help when Dwalín came over and took her hand, one of his axes in his hand. She swiped up her twin blade holsters as they passed their spot. Nobody seemed to realize they were leaving the camp.
Dwalín was already tired of having quickies against trees and large boulders but he would take her just about anywhere he could lay her back on. Rurín barely put her swords down when his mouth was on hers, loosening her ties and tugging down her trousers. She giggled and kissed him back, helping him push his down as well.
His hand was already pressed against her and finding the spot to make her needy and quickly had her whining in his mouth. He didn't really even have to try and she was jelly in his palms.
"I need to be inside ye," He growled, going to her neck and biting her harshly as he thrust into her. Rurín gasped.
"The next time we find a deeper stream, you're going to fuck me senseless."
It wasn't a request. Rurín missed him taking her while bathing. Dwalín groaned as he kept going, agreeing with her.
Not long after they got cleaned up close to the stream nearby, they returned to camp with the deer chopped up and on some wooden spits around the fire. Bilba blushed when Rurín sat down beside her. Dwalín went over to speak to his brother.
"You were gone a while," Bilba shyly smiled, making brief eye contact. Rurín smirked.
"Would have been gone longer but didn't want to risk traumatizing anyone some more," She said smoothly.
Bilba laughed. "I dare say, Kíli will never recover from thinking there was an animal behind that boulder."
Kíli once again bit off more than he could chew and got a lot more of an eye full than Dwalín's arse. He didn't look to account for all members of the company at camp before investigating a keening sound he heard. Now he knew better than to gorget double checking.
Dinner soon came and went and everyone lay down to go to sleep.
Bilba wondered how any of them could sleep due to how loud Bombur was snorting. She watched in disgust as moths were sucked in and blown back out, repeatedly. In her process of getting up, she accidentally kicked Rurín who was snuggled tightly in her husband's embrace.
She winced, muttering a soft 'sorry' when Rurín looked up at her.
"What are you doing?" She whispered. "Go to sleep."
"I can't--" Bilba hissed. Bombur took that moment to really give it his all and Rurín nodded in realization. Oh yeah... That would do it.
Slowly Rurín untangled herself from Dwalín and stood up, the two of them went over to where the ponies were. Bilba had smuggled two apples to give to Myrtle and Raín. She watched the Hobbit speak gently to them and pet her pony's snout, smiling. It was good to see she was settling in. Rurín had been worried about her.
