Chapter 41

We had finally settled into our new home. Some of my furniture from my old house went into the guest house.

I was laying on my bed when my phone beeped - it was a text message from my friend Brie.

Brie: hey J, can you watch Ana for me today? I will love you forever.

Me: of course Brie, being food! (:

Brie: I'll see you really soon!

I got off the bed and started cleaning up a little bit - just to make things presentable. When I finished making my bed, my phone beeped once more.

She was less than 10 minutes away, when I got in the box of pregnancy tests sat there, but the last disappointed was stuck in my head.

Pushing the box into the cabinet, I ran downstairs when I heard the doorbell.

"Brie, I missed you!" I gushed, giving her a hug before taking the car seat from her. "And my little baby Ana."

"It's been awhile.." She laughed, before running back out to her car.

I looked over at Ana and started taking her out the seat. She was absolutely gorgeous.

Brie came back in, holding out a bag from in n out burger. "How does this sound?"

"Oh my god yes!" I laughed, leading her in to the kitchen. "Okay, this guy really likes you if you're moved in together here." She looked around.

"That's not it.." I moved Ana to the other and showed her my finger. "Holy Crap, that looks expensive."

"It really doesn't matter if it's expensive, we love each other too much."

Brie placed the bag on the counter then placed a kiss on Ana's head. "Okay, I'll see you two later." She gave me one last hug - hurrying out.

Ana was peacefully asleep on my bed, I walked into the bathroom - finally gaining the courage to take the test.

After doing to precise steps, I waited for the result to come up. My pacing was getting faster and that's when I lost all the chill inside my body.
