I'm so ready for summer && to write more but I might be gettinga summer jobs.. crap && above is janel's outfit..

I ran my hand around my neck, where the bruises were. They were purple and just disgusting. I looked around the hotel bathroom then got out - trying to get dressed quickly.

My outfit was denim buttoned shirt and some blue jeans. I folded it up my ankle then pulled on my timberlands.

I glanced down at my hand, where my ring was before. Taking a deep breath, I pulled on my grey overcoat then grabbed my bag and phone.

Jenna: hey there babe! ❤️

Me: morning wifey 💍

Walking out the hotel room, I made my way out and into the car. It was time for my appointment with Dr.Gomez.

Jenna: I miss you :( are you ready to physically talk again? some of us miss your voice !

Me: 😂 okay Jen, I have an appointment but I'll see you later.

The drive to the office was short, when I arrived I sat in the car for a while texting Jenna.

Jenna: have you talked to Val?

Me: no , Jen I really can't face him. I still feel guilty and I really don't deserve him .. He needs someone way better. I'm just really not the one ..

Jenna: Janel, stop it right now ! If I was a guy I would fight till the end of the world for you! You're absolutely perfect and don't let anything or anyone put you down for that .. Shit , if you don't want Val back or he doesn't want you .. I'll gladly marry you !! 😍😂💍 You better say yes too ..

Me: You really know how to cheer someone up .. 😂😂 You are a really good friend Jenna and I'll say yes because I'm scared of you right now .. I'll see you later, Jen 💍💖

Jenna: See you later wifey 💖

I walked into the building then signed it, making my way towards her office. I knocked softly then smiled when she opened the door.

"Good morning , Ms.Parrish."

"Morning.. Ms.Gomez."

"Oh Janel, call me Sophia.." She opened the door wider, letting in.

Once we were settled, she nodded for me to go ahead and start talking which wasn't a problem.

"His anger is based off of jealousy. He gets pretty of jealous of lots of the guy I'm friends with. He's not physically abusive in any way."

"You said not physically.. Has he been verbally abusive or any other abuse towards you?"

"Val has never been abusive towards me, but I've experienced it somewhere else."

"Was at home? An ex boyfriend?"

"It was verbally, once or twice it was physically but.."

We moved on from that topic.

"One thing I'm afraid of in our relationship is him going on another season of Dancing With The Stars. Those dances can be very sexual and he gets into them.. it's just really stressful but I do want him to have a chance and win.."

When we finished talking about my past and fears, she closed her notebook.

"How are you feeling, Janel? About everything that happened?"

"I'm better now, it's not as traumatic as it was right after it happened." I shrugged. "I'm better now.."

She nodded then smiled. "Even if this is the last time you come, you can always drop by or give me a call.

When I left the office, I started the car and made my way home before going to see Jenna. This was important and I wasn't going to lose him.

Arriving at the house, I grabbed my purse and walked up the steps and unlocked the door.

There was talking coming from the kitchen. It was Val of course and the other voice.. Maks.

I pushed the door open catching their attention, Val's face lit up and Maks looked at me with a smile, he mouthed thank you and walked out the kitchen.

"Janel.. I missed you so much." Val smiled, walking towards me with hopefulness all over his face.

"I'm sorry .. I whispered, hugging him. "I'm better now and I love you.."

"Missing something?" He smiled, pulling the ring out of his sweats pockets. "We'll get through hell and back."

"I love you through hell and back.." I smiled, when he put the ring on. "I love you to heaven and back.." He added.
