Standing in front of Val's house at 3 in the morning, my heart pace quickened and I wanted to jump into my car and go back home then curl up under my duvet.
As I was going to walk back to my car, the house door swung up and Val was standing there with his keys in hand, he gave me a confused look before he shut the door and looked at me.
"J, what's wrong?" Val asked, pulling me closer to him.
"There's something I need to let off my chest."
Val smiled. "Okay! Come on in.."
"Really? Well go ahead."
"Come inside.." Val said pulling me in.
Val pulled me and shut the door behind him, sitting down he slipped a glass of wine towards me.
"I don't know, we've been partners for a while-" I was interrupted by a female voice.
"Val? Are you coming back up?"
I looked over at Val and raised an eyebrow, shaking my head I stood up and walked out towards my car.
My heart was broken and I didn't want to look at him for another minuted, I could hear him open the front door and call my name but it was ignored.
