Chapter 52

A WEEK LATER :

I was absolutely sick, it was a common cold but I felt horrible from the inside out. I had seen the doctor earlier and he said I'll be fine and so will the baby.

Laying on the couch, Oreo and sitting on my stomach as I watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians when inspiration struck. I grabbed my laptop of the floor and powered up word.

My name .. Well you should know it by now.. It's Janel Meilani Parrish, these past couple of months have been intense and I mean intense. In a couple of months, I'll be walking down the isle and having a child.. It sounds crazy because if you told me life would turn out like this, I wouldn't believe you. I'd tell you to shut up and go back to work.. Yet, here I am..

My mom always told me, relationships are built on compromise and trust - without compromising and trusting what's a relationship? Val and I had to do a lot of comprising and lots of trusting to be together and I believe at the end of the day.. It's gonna be all worth it.. One way or another..

I looked at my screen then pressed save, I'd come back to it later in the day. Val would be home soon.

Coughing a little, I turned my attention back on to the TV. My mind started drifting off into places.

I'd get to figure out the sex of my baby soon.. The smile on my face got bigger just thinking about it.

"Come on babies.." I said to Oreo and then Kleo who was on the floor, I opened the back door and let them out.

I slowly made my way up the dozens of stairs then into my bedroom, I walked into the closet and looked at myself in the mirror.

Over 20 weeks of pregnancy and I've literally only gained 35 pounds. (Don't fight me on this, it happened to my mom and family members.. They didn't look pregnant at all .. never!)

I stripped out of my clothes and into the shower, I washed my hair and body then got out, wrapping my body in my towel.

After 5 minutes of looking, I pulled on my shorts and a sports bra. A ringing at the doorbell interrupted me, as I made my way down the stairs - I pulled my hair into a ponytail.

"Janelly open this door!" I heard the one and only Jenna bang on my door. Opening the door, she attacked me with a bear hug.

"hey there sexy mama.." She smiled, shutting the door behind her and pulling me into the living room.

"Afternoon wifey." I laughed, sitting on the couch.

"I brought you something's.." She smiled, setting a tote bag on the coffee table. "Okay, I couldn't choose which one you wanted so I brought you all of them.." She said pulling out 6 different packages of halls.

"hmm, Honey-Lemon is a no.." I shook my head, taking the tropical fruit package into my lap. Jenna nodded and pulled the Honey-Lemon into her purse.

"Okay, I got you red velvet cupcakes because I know you're obsessed and poptarts , oh some green tea and guess what?" She smirked and pulled out the bag full of heaven. "In n Out!" She laughed.

"you're literally the best human being alive!" I laughed, hugging her.

"Here.." She chuckled, pulling out an iPhone case. She pulled out hers and let me read it.

Hers was Patrick with Best underneath and mine was spongebob with friends underneath. I smiled and wrapped my arm around her shoulders.

"More like sisters you crazy.." I smiled, resting my head on her shoulders. "twins.."

She laughed and placed a kiss on my cheek. "Sisters for life, now this might be a little too late but read this."

She pulled out a book, I've seen before. Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man. I grabbed it and nodded.

"Read it, study it.. Don't let him see it." Jenna smiled, getting up off the couch. "I need to make it to work but text me."

"Thanks again Jen.." I smiled, giving her a hug. "I love you, janelly." When we she left, I grabbed some stick notes from my purse and started reading.

I hadn't realize I was reading for so long, the song of Val's car being shut startled me. Quickly I pushed the book in my purse then grabbed one of the red velvet cupcakes.

When he walked in, I say up and smiled over at him. He had a bouquet of white rose. Val placed a kiss on my forehead and handed them to me.

"Why the rose?" I laughed, sitting up on the couch. "That's not it.." He smiled, going back to the front door and opening it.

He came back in with a huge teddy bear, definitely bigger than me.

"Okay.. What did you do wrong?" I smiled, walking over to him and grabbing the teddy bear. "I didn't do anything, just wanted to give something to my baby girl."

"Okay, Okay I believe you.."

"Sometimes I wonder.. What would happen if I never met you.. You truly are the love of my life.. I love you so much Janel Parrish."

"I love you to the sun and back Valentin Chmerkovskiy!" I smiled hugging him. "Janelskiy forever.."

That's it! Those are the moments I want to be remembered. Not the sad heartbreaking ones, the ones that are happy and sunny - being with the people I love the most in the entire world.

If you'd ask me, I'd never change history. Everything happened for a reason and I'm pretty glad of that.

I'm not to sure I want somebody writing our story. It's gonna be a great one and it's gonna die with us. You'll know bits and pieces but never the full thing. You see our lives through what we put on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook but that's it..

Do you know how we love? How we treat each other? I'm madly, deeply, truly in love with this man and I'm gonna be in even more love with this child..

To quotes the fault in our stars: some infinities are bigger than other infinities.

We don't need a soundtrack for our story, our heartbeats in the only music needed.

I hope one day people will remember me as the person who fell hard and found her Prince Charming.

Please remember me as, the girl the played Jade in the bratz movie, who played the mischievous - bitchy Mona on Pretty Little Liars and the one who fell in love on Dancing With The Stars.
