I order my drink in Starbucks then paid. She smiled at me then started quickly making my drink.

Jenna and Emma had booked me a half an hour with a therapist. They wanted me to talk and get things off my chest.

When the barista gave me my coffee, I thanked her and made my way out. There were paparazzi, one stayed a safe distance away and asked me a question.

"Janel, where is your engagement ring?" He asked, snapping away.

I ignored the questions and quickly got into my car, driving away. When I got to the therapist office, I quickly walked in them signed in.

"Ms.Parrish, Dr.Gomez is ready for you." The lady at the desk smiled at me before going back to her work.

Walking into the room, Dr.Gomez stood up and smiled at me. I looked around the room it was a classic room with the leather chair and her desk. She had diplomas and awards.

She held her hand out, offering me a seat - I sat down and looked around very uncomfortable.

"Hello Janel.." She smiled, watching me very carefully. I didn't make eye contact but I can see her write something down.

"So, your friends tell me.. You were assaulted and now you're going through a traumatic experience." She looked up at me, expecting to talk. "How are you feeling, Janel?"

The silence was deafening, she sighed and sat up straighter. "I know you opposed to this arrangement, but you have to talk to someone."

Sighing, I looked up to meet her gaze.

Dr.Gomez smiled then sat at the edge of her seat. "Janel, you seem like a very powerful lady. You get what you want, when you want it. You're fierce and outgoing and that's from stories your friends tell me."

"Now, what happened .. You can overcome it. Don't let it control your life. You might now what to hear it: but it's not your fault and it's not your fiancé fault either."

With no response, she kept going.

"Go back and see him. I've realized you turned to not talking. First it was not eating now not sleeping. You don't speak to your parents or friends."

"Okay, I want you to go back on the dance floor when we're done settling your fears.. Now, next session we must speak to overcome.."

She wrote something down then looked back up at me. "Okay, this a simply yes or no questions. You can answer with a nod or the shake of the head."

"are you afraid to be alone at night after the assault." Nod.

"do you suffer depression?" Nod.

"do nightmares or hallucinations occur of the event?" Nod. Shake.

"do you distrust anyone besides close friend and family?" nod.

Dr.Gomez looked at me and sighed. "You'll have to talk sooner or later. This session is over but Janel, I'm here to help."

|| After the therapist ||

Jenna had taken me to the mall. She said something about cheering up and lightening up our sad, dreadful mood.

Every Time a guy walked by, I flinched away until it became unbearable. Looking at Jenna, she knew it was coming.

"Okay, okay let's go.." She held my hand, walking out the mall quickly before I started hyperventilating or had an anxiety attack right there.

"Okay, wrong place to take you.. But J, you need to go home and at least be with Val cause Mark was over there at its pretty bad."

I stared at her for a moment before nodding. I took her home Then made the way to mine.

My phone beeped when I got to the stop sign, it was an updated alert.

Extra: are the newly engaged Janel Parrish, 26 and Valentin Chmerkovshiy, 29 call it quits so soon? The star from Pretty Little Liars was seen at Starbucks without her ring, when questioned - there was no response. We surely hope, that's she's getting it cleaned!

A detour, instead of going home, my drive was back towards Dr.Gomez's officer. When arriving, I asked for her then finally got inside.

"Janel?"

"It all started in September of 2014. I thought doing this show would be the greatest things.. and it was.."

She realized I would talk and grabbed her notepad, sitting across from me. I told her the story about meeting Val and falling deeply in love with him.

"Payson, I did consider him to be my first love but then he left me and Val was there to pick up the broken pieces.."

Continuing, she watched and nodded as I spoke. Occasionally, she'd write something down.

"They played me.. But, I shouldn't have gotten mad because i fell for it but it was a game to them.."

"where you the only one, or was there another female involved."

"Meryl.. Maks fiancé. It was to see who won first and Val did. It was extremely painful and difficult to move past. But we did."
