THIRTY-FOUR - Graduation Photoshoot

Everyone is so busy putting make-up on their faces while me, I'm just here waiting for my name to be called on. I'm so nervous inside but I am bored outside.

"Next, Min Yoongi," the photographer said so I entered the room.

When I'm done, I looked at the queue and there, I spotted Yulhee. She waved her hand to me and I just smiled back.

I walked towards the office and waited everyone there. We'll call Chanyeol today in a complete attendance. I couldn't believe it's been two weeks since he left.

"Sunbae..." someone said entering the office without even knocking the door. Okay, so who is this rude disturbing my napping time? Who is this s---

Luhan?

"Can we talk for a little?" he suddenly asked.

"What if I say no?"

"Then you'll be forever stupid for not knowing it."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?"

He drew a deep breath and walked his way to the nearest chair.

"Can we talk like we're friends? Can you calm down and forget the fact that I am Luhan?"

"The Luhan who is a friend of Chanyeol? The Luhan who only courted Shin for a bet? The Luhan who tried to hurt Shin and Chanyeol's feelings? The Luhan who is the guitarist of the Fallen Angels? The Luhan who is selfish and arrogant? Do you think I can forget those fuck?"

"Look, I was so sorry to all of those. I admitted everything and regretted them already. But please, please, just give me five minutes to save a heart jebal."

I looked away and just faced the computer to edit the front page of our graduation album. I have no time listening to him. I don't give a shit. I don't give a fuck.

"Shin saw and heard everything the other day in the gymnasium," he started. "I saw how her face became happy when she saw you, turned sad when you walked with a girl in the gym, became surprised when she heard that you are getting back together, cried in tears when he heard you saying she's just your nothing in particular."

I backtracked. Why am I hearing these?

"She ran away as fast as she could, fell down few times and sobbing really hard because she couldn't believe you said those words which made her heart broke into pieces. Don't you see? She loves you. She really loves you. But here you are being blinded to everything that she does."

"Luhan, that doesn't make sense," I replied. "Shin is just a younger sister to me. I am just an older brother to her. We grew up together so I know what you're pointing out. I know Shin. She doesn't love me. I am not his ideal type."

"But ---"

"When she was five to seven years old, she always mentions a name to me. She always says she really likes that boy. She wants to marry someone like him someday. See? At a very young age, he already set her heart to someone."

"But that was already long ago. That's already out of the picture."

"I understand your concern, Luhan, but I am not the guy for her. She doesn't deserve me."

"You're so difficult, sunbae. If that's what you believe in, then be it. She already stepped nearer and I knew you saw yourself in her eyes, but still, you chose to close them and ignored her instead," he told me as he stood up. "I'm leaving. Have a good day."

Luhan walked out of the room and left me there typing so many questions marks on the keyboard. I couldn't focus. I couldn't think of anything. I was surprised to hear everything from him.

"Shin saw and heard everything the other day in the gymnasium. I saw how her face became happy when she saw you, turned sad when you walked with a girl in the gym, became surprised when she heard that you are getting back together, cried in tears when he heard you saying she's just your nothing in particular."

Is this the reason why Shin getting rebellious nowadays? Is this the reason why she has a bad temper to anyone who messes her day? To anyone who tries to ruin her mood? I'm not getting assuming here, okay? I'm just trying to figure out the pieces since girls are girls. They are abnormal.

"Woah. Our hardworking representative is busy," a voice said and there, they arrived. We even did a headcount if the officers are complete already before we started to call Chanyeol.

"ANNYEONGGGGGGG!"

"Chanyeol-ieeeeee!"

"Ya! How are you?! We miss you already!"

"Come back here! You have lots of office works!"

And the lines go on and on. They are not even talking. They are just shouting to one another. I tried to escape into the reality of life but then...

"Hyung, do not stand up. Just stay where you are seated," he chided.

Alright, then.

The video call continued as they ask him several questions like, where did he transfer, his reasons, what school, lovelife, studies and so on and so forth.

"How about you, Yoongi-hyung?" he suddenly asked.

"Yoongi-sunbae has a girlfriend already!"

"Jinjja?! Oh, let me guess. Her name starts with letter S, right?"

"What are you saying? It's Y. Yulhee. His first girlfriend. They are together again."

Chanyeol looked at me with a blank face. Maybe he was surprised to hear that? Or angry for not treating Shin better?

But okay, let me ask. Why are these guys, Luhan and Chanyeol, were pushing me to Shin? Why do they intervene? They both like Shin, right? But why not just forget about me and do their best to make Shin fall inlove with one of them? Like may the best man win.

I decided to stand up and carried my bag on the table.

I'm going to my next class.

I want to escape everyone and everything.
