A/N: After the scare, Lumine and Zhongli's insistence, Xiao agrees to rest and take it easy until his new Amrita medicine to treat his karma takes effect. So with Lantern Rite here Lumine decides take him out for the day...however an unexpected reunion with a certain child occurs. Enjoy some OST of YaoYao~! <3

Random Facts: Lumine often pets Alatus along the neck and head but will avoid touching his wings. In real life birds love to be petted and receive gentle scratches on the head and neck but not their wings. it'll upset them having their wings touched. Lumine's found these spots through trial and error through her years with her hubby since he revealed his true form to her. But it was the head Lumine discovered he loves being getting stroked most even in human form.

Morning came as a lone pair of finches perched outside the window softly singing to greet the dawn that morning during the Lantern Rite Festival. Lumine awoke first snuggled up in the soft silken warmth of pale feathers tickling her face. What she saw had surprised her: Vesperus and Solis snuggled up against her and their sleeping father was still in his true form. Vesperus's little fuzzy wings had been what had tickled her face. "When and how did they manage to get up onto the bed?"she thought with amusement seeing Solis's ashen wings twitch as she yawned. Vesperus meanwhile was sleeping like a log as Xiao's beautiful golden wing had draped over them like a blanket at some point in the night. 

A slight tremor and the sleepy purr coming from her beloved's body held a lot more strength then it had before. This one was one of content delight as she ran her hand just under his head feathers and stroked his cheek. The simple motion seemed to stir him into the waking world as his eyes groggily opened and he shifted out of his true form before his eyes. "Hm? When did they get onto the bed?"he mumbled groggily. Lumine just smiled holding up one of the vials of the verdant green medication that shimmered in the sunlight. His mind was muggled and he ached but quickly understood as he took it.

"You are looking a lot better than at least then you were a couple days ago."hummed Lumine as she got ready for the day. Nahida had really made that medicine impossible for her dear yaksha to resist it seemed. "I wonder if she made it taste like dreams."she thought with a chuckle.

"Still got a little bit of a headache...but I'll manage."he assured, cradling his poor head after setting the empty bottle aside. He looked down at feeling a small tug and grasp of tiny hands at his jade that hung from his sleeve. Solis was awake and had crawled over to him, wide mischievous jade colored eyes looking worried.

"Owkie?"Lumine and Xiao just froze. Both parents staring in shock as lumine dropped what she was doing startling poor Paimon awake. Yet somehow Mochi and Vesperus were sleeping through the excitement.

"Who what when!? Paimon's awake!!"yelped the fairy only to see Lumine smiling in delight and Xiao a more gentle smile as he held Solis in his arms. "What's going on?"

Solis was startled and confused but puffed out her cheeks stubbornly patting her father's chest. "Pwapa owkie?"she asked again.

"Yes Solis, I'm alright."he soothed delight in the tiny sun goddess's eyes as her father's hair tickled her.

"Wait, did Nalini just talk!?"Paimon's jaw was practically on the floor.

Lumine was ecstatic as she laughed at this little surprise. Her little firecracker had started talking before her brother did but her brother had started standing before her sister had figured it out. She honestly thought it would have been the reverse but surprise surprise, just like both parents the tiny yaksha and yakshini had their own lil' bag of tricks. And now that she was starting to talk, Nalini didn't seem to want to stop, trying to copy words she heard. Since Xiao would not be doing any sort of combat an idea came to mind. "Xiao do you want to go to Liyue harbor with the twins?"
