So much had transpired since the events with Nahida. The Wisdom Gala went on as planned, Bakari forced to stay with his mother for her commision of being a guest commentator. But Bakari didn't dislike it completely, even if it was a punishment he still was being allowed to help and spend time with his mother. Besides the other reason lumine was noticing his condition was starting to show worrying signs of a flare up again. Her son's hair is now almost completely black as night once again. His harvest moon honey amber eyes now almost the same azure as his grandfather's own. Nalini meanwhile for once not getting into trouble? The games were keeping her short attention span occupied beautifully.
The stall that had ironically kept her focus? The very school Tighnari was representing. Poor Xiao couldn't keep her away from playing with the weasel mimic as she laughed in a sing-song little tune in her father's old Liyuelite tongue. For many it confused those that watched but for the linguist students and scholars it made them snicker and smile at such innocent mirth of youth. A smile though small across her protective father's face as Xiao's eyes sparkled with his own joy, never far as his cub played.
Goddess of the Hunt and Lady of the Dawn. Only a few months old, Sumeru was singing her praises beyond the Wall of Samiel. Whispers having reached both Lumine and Xiao's ears Sumeru's native citizens gossiped even now. But Nalini was not the only one. There was whispers they were hearing about Bakari and they were far more...mixed. Some sang his praises, calling him the Defender of the Lost and a God of Life. Tales and rumors of hearing a siren comforting song that guided them safety. Others were more sinister, claiming him to be a cruel and cold reaper of souls that foretold misfortune. These people were always seeing a lone raven or vulture or jackal, eyes glowing unnaturally. These people calling him Prince of the Night, and even cruel things. And the irony was the ones that saw ill of him were people in the jungle.
But those people were always stopped and put in their place if his parents weren't present by their Sumeru family. But these people were often surprised to discover the little newborn god of the moon...this yaksha was as gentle as fallen snow. Even expertly holding a tiny robotic swiftfly without breaking it. The little boy always again surprised these people with wisdom beyond his age only to be reminded again that this "Lord Khonsu'' was by human terms just an infant and only a child in deity and forest spirit terms. Regardless the festival went off without too many problems as Lumine with Paimon and Bakari learned more about Kaveh and his past. Even the ominous crown that had set Bakari and herself off along with Xiao had been destroyed. Sachen's doom and gloom beliefs for now never to surface again as Nahida revealed she had gotten Kuroneko to investigate this incident by enrolling him into the akademiya.
