Fun Fact(s): How about another fact on our MC Twins? The name "Aether" deprives from not just a primal source of all elements but also a name of a Primordial Greek God of the same name whom had a twin sister named Hamera. Lumine's name meanwhile is Latin for light but also deprives from a very ancient prayer used in alchemy, "Lumen de lumine" and is the name of a very old alchemy book too under same prayer name. What I find cool though is the twins are heavy themes of Yin and Yang right down to their clothes. Another fun detail is when you select a twin you are selecting a split in the timeline.

The waning moon overhead cast its soft silvery glow as a streak of soft rainbow light bolted through the jungle canopy and cliffs. Mist as a pair of feral hawk-like eyes glowed in the darkness of the creeping shadows. A lone young petite fair haired bird yaksha spirit adeptus appeared to sit silently on the leafy rooftop. A plump peach in hand as he relaxed, content taking a sharp bite of the pink fruit. Down below by the dying fire curled up asleep was Lumine. While against her held in her arms was their slumbering son.

All seemed right with this moment of peace right now as his familiar chirped to perch on his shoulder guard, preening its chest feathers. "Dainslief must have taken Solis with him...that's fine. He won't let her come to harm."Xiao thought, taking another bite from his snack. However something caught his sharp eyes: a streak of stardust and something small sneaking around. Xiao's brow furrowed as in a wisp he allowed himself to turn invisible.

It was Paimon!?

But where was that glutton of a fairy going and looking so anxious? He was not liking it. Enjou's words coming to mind suddenly in the back of his mind. Then the events of Lantern Rite this year. "What are you up to little seelie?"he whispered. Aquila receiving a silent command swiftly followed after the celestial fairy kept out of sight. Whatever was going on the young fledgling Lord of the Skies did not like it, his distrust of Paimon growing and he dare not leave his slumbering family unguarded.

So he would stay and wait for Dainslief and his daughter to return. He would not act rashly...he would wait. Yes wait and see if Paimon would prove him wrong or would deserve the full brunt of his fury. For there was one thing a Child of Apep was good at: biding their time and watching. Yes he only had to wait and see if the glutton was trustworthy or a viper that had dared enter his nest. Only time knew....only time.

Vesperus soon stirred into the waking world with a yawn stretching his fuzzy downy wings. A small sneeze escaped him as some dust got into his nose as he crawled out of his sleeping mother's arms. But some felt wrong to him as he gently shook her arm. "Mommy? Mommy wake up Solis ain't back yet."he pressed.

"No...don't give up..uhmm...."came her sleepy mumble but she did not wake. A strange energy coming off her body threatening to touch the little moon god, his hair giving off a soft ice blue glow, eyes threatening to turn scarlet. The sight sent Xiao into action as he swiftly grabbed Vesperus who was trembling.

"Daddy, something is wrong with mommy!!!"wailed Vesperus in fright as he felt the sting from the rosary around his ankle as they gave off an adeptal glow. "She won't wake up, I can't wake her!"

Xiao's eyes turned wide in fear and worry that this type of energy coming off her body like a slithering venomous serpent was way too strong even for him. "Wait, Dainslief, he can help."he thought, hastily setting Vesperus down to firmly grab him by the shoulders. Holding the frightened worried boy's eyes with a stern gaze. The stench of fear and something far more sinister. He had seen this sinister energy once years ago when he devoured her nightmares to replace it with dreams. Nightmares always tasted disgusting, like spoiled soy milk. But this was now a delicate and dangerous situation that had gone out of his skills. Ley line energy that like a bleeding wound had smothered her slowly like a butterfly in tree sap. If something wasn't done and fast Lumine would be in real danger....they'd both be in danger.
