A/N: Upon learning it's their father's birthday not long after returning to Liyue the twins want to do something for their father and chief, Alatus; Nalini is forced to learn a valuable lesson.

Random Fun Info: I'm a big fan of Lion King(the original animated films not the remakes). So this chapter took some what of an inspiration from both films(the parent talks + rescues). Nalini is reckless and even rash, like Simba and Kiara. So I thought why not make a father daughter chapter? So I hope you enjoy this as much as I did writing it.

I hope you enjoy this father daughter chapter and the song for the Moon Snake Arc. <3

The sweet serenade of the marsh that surrounded the humble Wanshu Inn that mid April spring morning as it began to spring with life. Guests waking and getting ready to tackle the day. The same eager activity could be seen in the harbor city as like clockwork shops and businesses began to open for the day. Farmers and people that tended the land having long began to start their day before the first trickles of dawn cast its painted canvas to mid ado to the sea of stars.Within the the Guili Plains streaks of blazing smoke and a golden mist as frustrated yelps could be heard again and again.

The reason? The little daughter of the Vigilant Yaksha and the Hero of Liyue. The ebony haired girl's feral jade eyes glowed like smoldering suns due to her impatience and frustrations with her father. Vermillion undertones glowing bright as she on instinct flapped wings covered in ashen down. "Again!"came his firm, stern hiss. Solis hot temper was beginning to flare as they trained while Lumine was currently working on Vesperus's other lessons since he was confined to bed since yesterday.

No emotion shown on Xiao's face as he easily blocked or even deflected each of his daughter's attacks and advances. The way she was fighting it was like dealing with a feral beast that did not know its place yet in the pack. "There's a lot of pent up anger in her blows. But that anger who are you really directing it at?"he thought as he easily pushed her back. Solis let out a frustrated scream as she sat there, her palms burning the very earth and reducing it to ash in her irritation. Yes she was only three months old but three months for an elemental being and deities was a blink, barely even a heartbeat even. To the naked eye his only daughter looked like a normal six year old child. They would not be able to fathom her real age was much younger then her biological and spiritual maturity.

"I-It's not fair! It's just not fair!"Solis huffed trying desperately to hide her tears from her father. So she had not been expecting to feel a gentle hand pat her head, making her look up. "Daddy?"

"Go home you've done enough for today. I'll be back by this evening."Xiao informed firmly but gently.

"Where are you going, can I come?"Xiao stared at her taken aback but there was a smile and amusement as he hoisted his daughter to her feet. Kind, loving hands dusting off her new red Liyue style dress and adjusting the lotus hairpib in her long hair. "Please? I wanna help!"

"No Solis, don't be in such a rush to grow up and rush into danger. One day you'll get your chance and nothing would make me happier."he grinned gently for a moment. For a moment he debated if he should tell her. "I'll be handling some bad monsters and evil spirits that I just now sensed coming up near the Chasm."

"Chasm? That weird freaky mine place you and mom grounded brother for going to?"wondered Solis. "I don't see what's so dangerous about it."

"Solis I mean it there is a good reason that place was sealed up but Rex Lapis and the rest of us adepti. That place has become a doorway into the void. You and your brother must never go near there. Do I make myself clear?"he stated firmly.
