A/N: While Dain goes off to do his task caring for the ley lines with Nalini the Daughter of Lumine learns a few lessons; Lumine finds herself alone unaware of what has happened.

Oh I intend to do the conclusion to the Sorush world quest right after the Calibert or Apep arcs. This is due to something important.

.......................................................

Well that had been one insane conversation between Dainslief and Kaeya. Lumine was not sure what to think about this new information about her close friend's heritage. Then she remembers her talks to Mona and Lumine were quick before their eyes to inhale her cocktail faster than a Monstandter then the Wine Festival. Could a person really escape their past? Lumine was not so sure. Xiao and her little ones had finished up their drinks and meals in no time but Lumine had to stifle a giggle as Dainslief refused to leave until he had his own drink. Leave it to a Khaenrian to pick the one drink that laid half of Monstandt out flat every time it was in season. But Kaeya had work to do so he parted ways, bidding goodbye for now.

Man could Dain hold his liquor too as he seemed to enjoy it as Lumine and Xiao took care of the older blonde's tab. Once that was finished with their kids in tow Lumine, Paimon, and Xiao followed Dainsleif to a part of the jungle not far from the Chasm. The former knight captain was more than happy to talk with curious little Nalini and Bakari along the way. Why did this man have a scent similar to their mama? Nalini had not known until her brother whispered into her ear his identity, making her excited. However, arriving here in this field with a little house the group was noticing Bakari tensing and his wings fidgeting restlessly. "What's got Vesperus worked up?"was the shared thoughts of the group.

"Wait, hold on! T-This place feels familiar..."Dainslief quickly called, getting them to stop as he looked around. His memories from five hundred years ago were so jumbled and hazy but he too felt some sort of tension upon arrival. But that was not all he could sense it: the reason Istaroth had sent him out.

"Familiar how? It's just a farm."wondered Nalini.

"Lini, it's just a field."hissed Bakari, his eyes before them gained a momentary glow as he let go of his mother's hand and ran over to a particular part of the field. Was it instantict or something more? Bakari was not sure but something felt wrong. Dainslief however had his suspicions, something must have happened here to catch the young Moon God's attention that alluded his sister. Now what had Ishtar called Vesperus? Ah yes he remembered now: The God of Life, Death, and Sleep. Teyvet's samsara law made flesh. So had something happened here to make his grandson so anxious? Possible.

"Paimon has to agree with Nalini. It just looks like a normal field to Paimon, was it like this hundreds of years ago?"the fairy wondered.

"It was."Xiao confirmed, "From what Bosacius told me before he placed that monument. I never left Liyue during those five hundred years,"

"Busy purging the aftermath of the Cataclysm?"Xiao nodded at Lumine's inquiry.

"Yes, I can confirm the yaksha's words. The forest has barely changed in these five hundred years from how I remember it. There's very little human activity after all."Dainslief confirmed. "Let's search the area and see what we can find."

And so they began to search around, spreading around to widen their search. Vesperus stayed close to his father to search near the house while Nalini with permission joined Dainslief to search the field. Paimon and Lumine searching around but nothing stood out despite the anxiety written all over Vesperus's face. So inside the house they went to investigate. It was dusty, moldy in places, and cobwebs dotted about in places. But there was evidence littered about it having been used by somebody at one point.
