Fun Fact: In Greek mythology Idyia was the name of one of many oceanid daughters of Oceanus and Tethys. She was the wife and queen King Aeeta of Colchis. She was also the mother of Medea, Chalciope, and the most famous one being Absyrtus(from the Golden Fleece legend). Idyia was considered the youngest of the oceanids ironically enough with her name meaning "Fair-faced" or "Knowing One" in greek. The biggest irony is Idyia's apparently a deity of magic in greek mythology to boot. Alice's girl club go brr!? lmao

Morning came slowly casting away the long shadows of the night as the warm sun came to greet the guests of the mirage oasis. Lumine yawned as she awoke sunkissed hair looking like a mess. Her bleary sleepy eyes glanced around the room and saw Bakari, Nalini, and Paimon were already gone. "Must have dragged poor Vesperus off to breakfast."she thought groggily. The answer given as she heard the laughter and playful quips as the scent of a warm breakfast greeted her wafting in on the breeze. It was faint but she felt a splitting headache again, images flashing in her mind but too blurry to see nor make out.

"Dearest star?"came a sleep mumble beside her, a scarred hand having reached up to caress her cheek. It had startled her but only for a moment as she looked down to meet the affectionate concerned gaze of her sleepy bird yaksha. "Another headache again? I can sense your pain..."

"A little bit but it passed. I'm more concerned about you, Alatus, are you feeling any better after she helped?"Lumined wondered and assured as in a gentle playfulness she felt him pull her down into his arms. Lumine giggled as her beloved brave just held her nuzzling her hair,

"It helped a lot, but I don't know what's going on since I reached the pinnacle of this second chorus..."he admitted.

"It frightens you?"Xiao nodded. With a gentle hum Lumine moved so she was just relaxing on his bare scarred chest. A reassuring smile he'd grown to love so tenderly now on her face. "Did mom tell you why?"she whispered.The pale haired yaksha could only lightly shake his head 'no' for an answer. No, the time goddess had been oddly silent since spring. He had been left in the dark since acquiring his hydro, causing yet another tail to gain an ethereal glow in his true form. Since getting it Lumine had noticed Xiao was struggling growing increasingly exhausted and now more recently what Idyia had called a body and spirit imbalance. But was it actually because the Celestians were giant masses of elements themselves, just like the dragons? She was sure it was.

"You know how most elemental lifeforms get ravenous if their power is low or something wrong with you?"Lumine nodded. "Idyia said your body just devoured that energy. Apparently you did the same when fighting Kuroneko according to Nahida.You also can eat dreams and nightmares...that too is just energy according to Apep or am i wrong?"

"Hmhph...Y-You're...You are not wrong. But the thing is, with children of dragons like my race, the adepti, the yokai, and those vishaps we demand a great deal of energy. Don't get enough, we can fall ill or even end up like Kokomi after that what did that dark elf call it? A choo-choo cart?"he yawned as Lumine gave a nod.
