Yuki was engulfed in the book. She couldn't imagine hiding as a man in a Castle with a prince as attractive as Kliax. She couldn't put it down! She had to know what was happening to Ardana (Adrian), and if Kliax would resolve his humorous emotions. Kliax really thought something was wrong with him for being in love with Adrian while he didn't know Adrian was really Ardana.

Yuki jumped. A clatter from her balcony interrupted her. She finished the sentence before she jumped off her bed to investigate. Yuki ducked when a rock soared straight toward her head and laughed at herself when it clanged against the glass door.

Bakugo grinned back at her. "Catch!"

Yuki's brows furrowed and was about to ask if she'd heard right when something silver and shiny zipped through the air. It spiraled toward her and Yuki held her hands in front of her face. It bounced off her hand and she lurched forward and awkwardly grabbed it. A can with a string attached to Bakugo's balcony.

He pointed at his ear. She looked around before lifting it. His deep guttural voice echoed around her skull when he said, "idiot. Anyways. Thought this would be more convenient than scribbling on paper."

Yuki shifted the can to her mouth and laughed. "You could've just asked for my number."

Bakugo scoffed. "And miss out on this fucking cliche? As if."

She blushed. Before she could say anything, the glass door next to Bakugo slid open.

"Yo, Bakubro, you okay? I heard you yelling—whoa! Yuki! I didn't know you were right there!"

"Tell him that it's a discovery for me too that you guys are over there." When Bakugo didn't move, Yuki repeated herself and added, "please?"

"Shitty hair, take this." Bakugo handed the can over.

    "Yuki!"

    "How's it going?" Yuki laughed.

"Great now that I'm talking with you. Hey, have you eaten today?"

    "Not yet."

"Yuki," Kirishima grinned. "You know what that means! Come on over here! Bakugo and Sero are cooking katsudon!"

Yuki pursed her lips. "I don't know. I feel bad always taking your food..."

"That's not an issue! Right, Bakubro?"

Bakugo snapped at Kirishima that he couldn't hear the fuck they were talking about and demanded the can back. Kirishima demanded Yuki come over before admitting if she were coming, he'd have to shower. Kirishima disappeared back into his room and Yuki waved after him.

Bakugo's sigh sent goosebumps down Yuki's spine. "He's a lot."

    "With good intention."

"I'm not so sure about that." If it wasn't for Yuki's quirk, she didn't know if she'd have realized he was teasing. He grumbled something else under his breath before mumbling, "so yeah, if you want food I'll start cooking in an hour."

    "Okay!"

Yuki and Bakugo stared at each other through the cool breeze. She shivered and Bakugo's eyes narrowed. "I have homework."

    "Me too."

    "Okay."

"Okay," Yuki repeated. "Oh, yeah! Was there anything you wanted to tell me, you know, 'cause the can and all..."

He shrugged. "If you cry again just throw something at my window."

"What if I just want to talk?"

    "Whatever chicken bones."

Before Yuki could respond, Bakugo tugged the string and yanked the can out of her grasp. She watched him fish the can before he nonchalantly returned to his room. What a strange person, she thought to herself.

Yuki watched Nishiharu quietly grab the bowl of seasoned flour when Sero turned away. Nishiharu practically fist bumped herself before she spun around and tiptoed away as quiet as a mouse.

Sero dropped a slice of pork on the counter before Yuki burst out laughing. Nishiharu giggled when she reappeared in the kitchen.

"Hey Tape Dispenser, the counter's not good seasoning."

Sero glanced down and jumped. "Haha, so funny. Where'd ya' put it, Reflexes?"

Nishiharu winked and Yuki felt her neck and ears tingled. When Nishiharu stood in front of Sero, he grinned and his hand soared in the air.

Nishiharu leaned back and her head slammed into Bakugo's back. Yuki sat up straight when her back tensed and her throat clutched and fumed when Bakugo shoved Nishiharu away. "Get the fuck off me."

"But Sero has raw meat on his hands and was gonna—"

It was Sero's turn to erupt in a fit of laughter when Bakugo's glare stopped Nishiharu in her tracks. She bowed, apologized, and stalked to the other room before returning with the bowl of flour.

"Lighten up, Bakugo," Yuki grinned.

Bakugo stared at Yuki for a little too long. Yuki flushed and she turned her attention back to Kirishima, who had just done a math problem irreversibly wrong. Yuki felt Bakugo's gaze still on her when she grabbed a pencil to help Kirishima out.
