Yuki's skin crawled and every nervous tick she'd ever experienced coursed through her body. Her leg and finger bounced alike while she stared forward at the man yelling and waving a gun around. It had happened so quickly. One moment the flight attendant walked into the back and the next, this man stumbled out. She cursed under her breath and glanced three rows ahead of her. The little girl screamed. Yuki unbuckled her seatbelt.

"Get down!" He yelled.

Anger surged through Yuki when she lurched forward and held tight to the chair in front of her as she trekked toward the girl. The gun pointed at Yuki. His face was covered by a mask and his navy blue suit was wrinkled. He had deep maroon hair and a slithering tail behind him.

The passengers screamed alike.

Yuki darted to the empty seat next to the little girl and sat. Her back was long as she glowered at the man at the front of the airplane yelling at everyone to shut up. His voice cracked a few times and sweat glistened on his forehead. Yuki looked at the little girl. "It'll be okay. The heroes will come."

They'd taken off six hours ago. She wondered if they'd even be able to get to them in time before anything bad happened. How would the heroes even know? Yuki knew Bakugo's jet could cut six hours to three, two and half if they were lucky. The man had disappeared into the cockpit before he ran out waving his gun, so Yuki assumed the crew were unavailable. Or worse.

A boy with large headphones was fast asleep two seats ahead. He had a rubix cube and Yuki noted that. It could be a good last hope weapon. Yuki continued to scan, making notes of pillows and blankets and possible uses as weapons. If his tail could move of its own accord...

"We have control of the plane," he hissed.

We? Yuki scanned the crowd again. Everyone appeared as worried as the next person.

An old lady screamed and the man scoffed. "If I hear anything else I won't hesitate to blow your brains out!"

He was new at this. Yuki shut her eyes and focused on him. No seasoned criminal would ever say something as lame as blow your brains out. Her heart rate rose and a drip of sweat slid down her neck.

"It'll be okay," Yuki whispered again. She held her finger to her lips and the girl nodded and wiped her eyes.

"Pass your phones up!"

Yuki's gaze widened. I'm so dumb. She slipped her phone out and quickly tabbed airplane mode off and was relieved to find signal. She tapped on the screen quickly and silenced her phone.

"Pass them!" He shoved a clean, white bucket forward. Two phones clonked in it and it moved back down the aisle.

She tapped her contacts, double-checked she was silenced and wondered who to call. She scrolled through her contacts and shook her head. "Stop being so dumb," she whispered to herself and clicked on his name.

When the bucket neared her, Yuki whispered into the speaker. "The plane's been hijacked. Help."

"Shut the fuck up!" the man screamed at a boy in the second row who'd burst into tears.

Yuki slid her phone in the bucket. She prayed he'd answered. Prayed he understood. Her battery probably only had an hour or two left and Yuki thumped her finger against the side of the chair.  She closed her eyes and prayed.
