Monday. After lunch.

Tori made her way to english. Walking into her classroom, she and a few other students looked at the newly tables put together.

"Afternoon guys!" Mr Fitz walking in behind them. "Have a good lunch?" He asked. "Uh..." Everyone questioned. "Yes, your all wondering why i've done this...well i took some advice. Your all right, we're not going to do poetry this term" He smiled at them. "Yes!" Cheers came from people around the room. "We are going to have a crack at a play"Mr Fitz told them. "Now, ive put your names on a worksheet on the tables, your all working together in a group of four however, the person next to you is your partner" He told them.

"I expect you to work suffitiontly with your parter." He told them. Oh, great. Who did Tori get on in here with? Oh, no one. "What play sir?" A boy asked. "Well, i've thought about it...was deciding between Macbeth, Hamlet....othello?" He raised his eyebrows. "But...i quite like the Romeo and Juliet play and stories" He smiled and nodded. "Before i tell anymore, find your names and partner" Mr Fitz told them.

Scattering around the class people looked around for their names. Tori headed to the first table, nope. Second table, nope. The table near Mr Fitz's desk, gotcha! Tori sat down and smiled as she scanned the worksheet. No one was sitting next to her. She was quite happy with that, she didnt mind. Why would you need a partner to write an essay? Tori turned to Mr Fitz as he stood a few feet away from her, in front of the class. "Okay, so...what i want you all to do is...we'll be taking a reading from the original book by William Shakespeare. Take a turn to watch the movie of it, and we'll be writing a few essays!" He told the class.

"Now, have a read at that worksheet and i'll be back in a minute!" Mr Fitz nodded as he walked over to his desk. Tori turned around in her seat, and started reading the sheet. "Tori...?" Mr Fitz walked over to her. Looking up she watched as he walked over to the desks. "Yes?" Tori looked at him. "Uhm, well im aware that you...well no one is sitting here right now" He looked at her. "Yeah...i dont mind working on my own. Compared to the people in this class...." Tori made a face.

Mr Fitz, chuckled a little as he nodded. "Well, im sorry to tell you...you arent working alone" He told her. "Oh. Okay, well is my parter absent?" She asked. "Hm...now yes...they shouldnt be though." He looked around the class. "Oh, okay well who is it?" She asked, smiling slightly. "Umm" Mr Fitz sighed before turning and looking out the classroom, to the corridor. Tori turned and saw a teacher standing, talking with Michael. "Huh, theres a surprise. I wonder what hes in trouble for now" She looked at Mr Fitz.

"Im sorry Tori, your the only one i can trust" He nodded. "What do you mean?" SHe asked, slightly confused. Looking at each other, Tori began to catch on. Her eyes widened and she turned to face the corridor again. Turning back, she noticed the worksheet across from her with Michael's name on it. "No...no!" She shook her head to Mr Fitz. "Tori, your the only person i can trust in this class that can...help him with the grade" He told her. "No, i aint doing it! I refuse sir!" She folded her arms.

"Tori, i need you to help. We need his grade up and..." "...and you think pairing him up with me will help that?! He hates me! I hate him! He never turns up for class, he doesnt listen, he doesnt give a shit....!" She sighed. "Tori, please...." Mr Fitz shook his head. "This whole essay will be our grade sir! I need his grade to make half my grade. If he messes up, i'll fail! Because of him!" She told him. "I know all of this. Ive thought about it, and i think it'll be okay. IF! you cant handle him, or your falling behind then i'll let you finish on your own okay?" Mr Fitz told her.

"But what if its too late!? I cant hand in my essay with half the mark!" She whined quietly. "Then, we'll figure it out" He told her. Tori looked at him and shook her head as she sighed and sat back in her seat. "Hello, sorry I'm late!" Michael walked up to the desk and sat opposite her. "Its fine, Michael. You're just in time to hear in what we're doing...." He nodded before turning to Tori and smiling. Tori looked at Michael as Mr Fitz walked away. "So! We're partners! and heres me thinking we wouldnt have the chance" He smiled at her.

They sat in silence for a moment, before Tori sighed. "Nice shirt" He smirked at her. Looking down at her shirt, it was the one she bought on saturday, when he saw her. "Look, Clifford...this is only going to be related to this class. You are going to stop, trying to talk to me, harrasing me in health, being a dickhead! Your going to come into this class, and work through this" Tori told him. "Uhm, what if i dont want to do that? What if i want to talk to you...." Michael asked her, concealing a smile.

"You didnt talk to me before...apart from being an ass. So, why dont you go back to doing that?" She asked. "Hm...being an asshole?" Michael asked himself, being sarcastic. "The not talking to me part!" Tori hissed at him. "Shall, we get this done?" Michael smiled at her, referring to the sheet. Tori looked at the sheet in front of her and sighed.

"....You'll all be expected to write two miny essays, and one big essay. Put a poster type...thing together, I'll tell you about that later. Both your essays will count as the full mark. Fifty, each. So like, your guys essays wil count as half the mark, and the other partner will make up the other half."

Tori sat and listened to Mr Fitz. What?! She had only half the mark with her work? Michael, could not fuck up! This was important to her. Looking over at Michael, he was on his phone. He looked up for a moment and back at his phone, then up again as he saw Tori looking at him. He smiled, cockily before looking back at his phone.

Oh, he was going to see a different side to her if he failed them!
