Midnight.
"So...you guys went straight to hospital?" Tori's dad asked, turning to her. "MmHmm, we uh..needed to get help. Its obvious." Tori looked into the mirror to Michael in the back. "Do your parents know?" Tori's dad asked. "Yeah, i called my mom." Michael lied. "Well, thats why...i dont like you going out to places Tori" Her dad shook his head. "Well, it wasnt anyone's fault but....Scott's." Tori shrugged. "Thats not the point! What if it was you, who got burnt!? Or the house went up in flames?" Her dad's voice got lower, and more angry.
"Dad it wasnt anyone's fault, but his. He picked up the lighter and sprayed the stuff. Michael was just walking by, minding his own busniess." Tori stated. "Im not having this. If your going out with friends to a party or whatever, i want details! Or your not going" Her dad warned her. "Dad..." "Ever Tori! Im not letting you go!" He told her. "Im 18!" SHe sighed. "And that means you can go out, getting burt with stupid people?" Her dad asked sarcastically.
"Im basically an adult dad, i can make my own decisions." Tori folded her arms. "Well, you can do that once you leave school and head to college. Till then, your under my roof and you will do as your told!" He told her as he turned into Michael's street. Tori sighed as she turned to Michael, the car stopping outside his house. "Thank you...Mr Montgomery." Michael nodded and smiled. Tori's dad turned to him, and looked him up and down. Michael then looked at Tori.
"I'll...text you tomorrow." He smiled and nodded. Tori nodded too, as Michael got out the car. As the door closed Tori turned to look out the window but her dad drove off. Tori was horrified at his actions. Rude, disrespectful, and not like him. On the whole journey home, the car was silent.
-
Tori and her dad made their way into the house, Tori closing the door behind her. She walked to the stairs to go to her room, as her dad called on her. Tori walked to the living room doors before walking in. "Dad, im sorry...but that was quite rude what you done to Mikey" Tori admitted. Her dad turned to her. "Apology accepted. I dont want you to be around him" He told her. Tori took a step back. "What?" She asked. "I dont want him in this house, you in his house....him near you! The only time you may associate with him is in...your class" Her dad sat down his keys.
"Your kidding right?" Tori folded her arms. "Tori, i dont want to have to stop you going out at all. I trust you and i trust you to not go near him. For your own good" He told her. "Dad! I told you it was...." "Im not talking about the fire. Im talkng about being in his company! He's a little weasel." Her dad tutted. "Im sorry?" Tori raised her eyebrows. "You dont want to get into his trouble. He doesnt care about anything but getting himself into trouble" Her dad told her.
"No, you dont know him. He isnt like....what he looks like" Tori shrugged. "He isnt..." "Tori!" Her dad butted in, bellowing out a little. "If i ever see him around you...he will be sorry" Her dad warned. Tori shook her head. "You do realise...i turned 18, not 8" Tori told him, before biting her lip. "I am adult, and i cant believe you'd think if be so stupid...to do stupid things!" Tori told him. "Yeah well, cockroaches find trouble anywhere" Her dad walked into the kitchen away from the conversation.
Tori stood, shocked. Her dad was being really mean right now, and she could believe the words coming out her mouth. Nor the fact, she was sticking up for Michael. She huffed and made her way up to her room.
"Fucking trust?! Doesnt even know what it is!" Tori spat under her breath closing her room door. She looked over to her desk where her records sat. She touched her neck, under her shirt pulling out and revealing the necklace Mikey had got her. She sighed and shook her head as she sat down on her bed and kicked off her boots. She decided to go in for a late night shower. Grabbing a towel, an oversized shirt and shorts she made her way into her bathroom for a shower.
-
Tori sat on her bed as she rubbed some moistrizer on her arms. Looking around her room as she done so. It was just after 1 in the morning and the house sounded quiet. Tori's phone began to ring, and ring. Getting up from her bed she walked over to her desk and picked up her phone.
'Hey' Tori sighed.
'Someone sounds off....' Michael spoke down the phone.
'Mmm well...i havent to talk to you. See you, or...ever be in your sight again' Tori told him.
'Ah, so your dad does hate me. I thought it wasnt just me' Michael chuckled a little.
'He doesnt hate you...he just...doesnt get...you' Tori shrugged.
'Lets be real Tori, he doesnt like me because im different. Im not like...Luke. Ashton or Calum.' He informed her.
'Whats that supposed to mean?' SHe asked a little confused.
'Well if you took Calum home...he's cool, good looking and whatever. Luke, hes quiet and Ash...well, he's Ash' Michael told her.
'Has...it ever occured to someone that people like different people. Cliche boys arent my type.' Tori hid a giggle.
'Cliche boys?' Michael smiled.
'Not that...your friends arent good looking but...i like different' Tori sat down on her bed again.
'Me too.' Michael laughed quietly. 'Are you going to...not see me anymore?' He asked her.
'No. If i want to see you...i'll see you' Tori grinned.
'Good.'
'How uh...was your mom and dad?' Tori asked a little hesitant.
'Uhm, y'know. Kinda went nuts, shouted swore, hugged me....the usual. its all good now though' Michael laughed.
'My mom wants to thank you though. I told her...you kinda took care of me' He mocked a little.
Tori smiled and blushed slightly. 'Your welcome' She giggled.
'So...apart from getting talked down too...what you doing?' Michael sighed.
'Nothing. Just got out the shower, sitting down and on the phone' She told him.
"Oooh, out the shower? Huh, pity i wasnt there' He mocked a little.
'Yeah, yeah, sure' Tori rolled her eyes and laughed a little.
'When can we see each other again?' Michael asked.
'Dont know...i dont think that soon. I dont...i dont want your face getting hurt' Tori admitted.
'It wont, dont worry.' Michael chuckled a little.
'Still...i dont feel...safe.' Tori told him.
'Yeah right! Thats bullshit. Your just scared now.' Michael chuckled.
'Scared of what?' Tori smiled.
'Of my face' Michael blurted out.
'Shut the fuck up! Stop talking like that!' Tori spat down the phone quietly.
'Its true.'
'No it isnt! There is nothing wrong with you....!' Tori shook her head.
'Hmm...well, we'll just see about that' Michael nodded.
'Shut up, ass.' Tori smiled.
Tori and Michael sat on the phone talking for nearly an 2 hours.
