It had been nearly two weeks since school went off for exams. Tori had already done her maths, history, and religious studies. The day finally came of her AP exam for english and her proper english. She managed to keep calm through out both exams, answered all questiones and finished the essays. She felt pretty confident, about english but her AP class...she felt like she done worse. She felt like shit, as she left the exam halls and headed home afterwards.
It was a friday. February 4th. Nearly three and a half weeks since she spoke with Michael. She hadnt seen him, spoke with him, nothing. Spoke with her friends, and spoke sometimes with the rest of the guys. Mostly Luke as he had exams the same time as her, and they were in school together.
Tori got home after her exams, and lounged around downstairs as he parents worked. She was watching a movie of netflix, she'd hadnt seen in a few years. Younger teen. Her adolescence self laughed at the childish things in the movie. She got up and walked down to her kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge the door went. Looking up, something in her sorta wished and hoped it was Michael. She sipped some water, walking down the hallway.
Someone knocked again, and she stopped behind her door. Taking a breath, she then sighed. Fixing her bangs, she then held the water bottle and opened the door. "Hi" Caleb smiled at her. "Oh....hi" Tori smiled back and walked to her living room again. "Oh, sorry to disappoint" Caleb walked in and closed the door before following her. "You havent...your not..." Tori sat down and muted the TV. Caleb sat down beside her and sighed.
"How you doing?" He asked putting his bag down. "Meh" Tori shrugged. "How was...the exams?" He asked. Tori nodded. "They were...okay. Not the best i dont think with AP so....shit" Tori sighed. Caleb tutted and shook his head. "Im sure you done great! You never had Clifford on your back so, thats good" He scoffed. "Caleb, can you not? Stop talking about Michael" She sighed and looked away. "Sorry" He sighed. "No, but i had fucked up rumours going around my mind!" She turned to him again.
Caleb nodded, apologetically and sighed. "Have...you not heard from him?" He then asked her. "No. I havent...i sorta accused him of spreading the rumour" Tori shook her head. "He didnt...." Caleb told her. "Yeah i know that....knew it but i was in over my head thinking it mightve been." She told him. "You okay? You want...chinese? Chocolate? A shitty rom com?" He asked her smiling. "No, i want concert tickets to....." She stopped and sighed closing her eyes. "What?" Caleb asked.
She totally forgot about her all time low concert...well, she wouldnt have company now. Mikey wouldnt even talk to her let alone go with her to a concert.
"Nothing. Uh...i just want to go to a music festival and scream. Have a good ass time!" She sighed. "You could go to the house party, thats happening...tomorrow?" He then nodded. "Im not going to a house party full of people who think i have walked up and down an alley" Tori told him. "Just trying to help" He shrugged smiling at her. "By telling me to go to a party?" She asked him. "No....maybe" He sighed.
"I dont think so Caleb. I'll just lie here and...eat...watch shitty movies that was made years ago, that my 14 year old self loved" She mocked. "Ha. ha" Caleb spoke slowly. "Whats up?" She asked him. "Huh....nothing" He shrugged looking at her. "You sure? Why'd you come here?" She asked. "Can't I visiit you?" He scoffed a little. "Yeah, well...you came in and mentioned Mikey...you always do that" She sighed.
"I cant...ask?" Caleb looked at her. "Always about him?" She gave him a look. Tori rolled her eyes and sighed. "Spit it out, Caleb....now" Tori told him. Caleb sat up and looked at her. "Are you two still seeing each other?" He asked her. "No. We're not" She told her. "Do....you like him?" He then asked. Tori looked away and held her breath before looking at him and biting her lip. "Yes" She told him. Caleb looked at her with sorry eyes. "Wow" He spoke, before swallowing. "Why?" Tori asked.
"Was...it going to be something? You two?" He asked her. "Maybe" Tori told him, tears filling her eyes. "Why....are you doing this to me" She asked. "Does he like you?" He asked her. "He said he...." She stopped, just as a tear escaped her eye. "Yes...he does" She nodded. Caleb sighed, and dropped his head before looking at her again.
"Ha, i blamed him for everything...but right now...i just want to see him. Hug him" Tori spilled out to Caleb, as tears ran from her eyes. "Aw, fuck...Tori" He sighed, and leaned forward wrapping his arms around her. "I miss him!" Tori let out a deep sigh. Caleb nodded. "I can tell" He told her.
Tori softly sobbed, as Caleb tried to calm her a little. "How...did you blame him?" He asked confused. Tori sat up, and wipe her cheek. "He came over the other week and...we kinda argued. Over the rumours and well...i over thought things and accused him. Then told him to leave." Tori sighed wiping her cheeks. Caleb shook his head before sighing deeply.
"I am...so sorry Tori" He told her. "Why...?" Tori sniffed and looked at him. She then leaned over to the coffee table and grabbed a few tissues. "It was me" He told her. Sitting back, she rubbed her nose with the tissue. "Huh?" She asked. "It was me who...started it" He told her, looking away then looking at her. Tori's heart dropped, her stomach knotted and she felt sick. Anger, pissed off!
"What?!" She questioned. "It wasnt supposed to be anymore than you hooking up with someone!" He stated. "What?! Caleb....what the fuck did you do?!" She stood up. "Tori, i swear. All i said in my computer class, was i think you hooked up with Ashton over winter. I said to one of my mates, and he mustve took it the wrong way, or told someone....then it all fucked up and turned into something worse" He told her. "You...fucking...asshole!" Tori screeched and slapped him.
"I deserve that but...." He told her. "No, you deserve worse! I blamed Mikey...and i was gonna punch Ashton...how the fuck did you know about us and why the fuck did you even say one word about me behind my back!?" She started slapping into his shoulders. "Tori! .... Tori!" He grabbed her hands, and she began to sob.
"I cant believe you! Your my cousin Caleb!" She told him. "I am so sorry!" He grabbed her and hugged her. "I fucking hate you" She told him. "No...." Caleb spoke up. "Your just upset" He told her. "Upset!? Im pissed off....!" She shouted. "I promise you. People were talking about their break, and all i said was...i think Tori hooked up with Ash, as in...their together" Caleb told her.
Tori looked at him. "WHY?!" She demanded. "Because i didnt want you around Michael Clifford!" He admitted. "He's such a little boy. Immiture, and getting you and people into trouble" He told her. Tori shook her head as she stared up at him. "But...he's changed. He's not who you think he is!" Tori told him, tears rolling down her face, now slowly. "Im...so...sorry" He told her carefully, and heartfelt. "You. Tell everyone you know, at that school that you fucked up. Its not true! Do you hear me....? You son of a bitch!" She shoved him a little.
Caleb nodded as he sighed. SHe turned and wiped her eyes, and sighed getting her thoughts and break together. "You need to leave" She told him. "I understand" He told her. "Ill call you later" He told her. "No....i'll call you tomorrow...i need time to think" She told him. "I love you Tori, your my baby cousin. I only did it to protect you...but stupidly and foolishly...messed up" He told her. "Im so sorry, please know that" He told her before leaving the living room.
Tori stood, arms folded facing the window. The front door closed, and soon Caleb came into sight walking down her pathway and out her gate before turning into the street and walking away. Tori had to sit down. She gasped out a little, how could he do this to her?! She sniffed, and wiped away tears as she sat and thought.
Pulling her laptop to he knees from the side of the sofa, she clicked onto skype. Adding in Hanna, and Spencer's name she waited as it rang. Till they answered.
"Hey, whats up?" Hanna asked smiling.
"Are you okay sweetie?!" Spencer clocked her tear stained face.
"I uh...need you girls..." She sniffed.
"Oh my gosh, whats happened?" Hanna asked, panicked.
"I need you" Tori told them.
"We're there!" The girls told her.
