Thanksgiving. 26th November.
Tori yawned, walking into the kitchen. It was after noon, and Tori was awake. Thankful...she had the day off school. That was the cool thing about it!
"Tori! Sweetie! Your awake" Her mom turned grinning at her. "What?!" Tori gasped a little. "I thought...uh...you were working?" Tori asked. "Yeah, i was. However i got it off. Thanksgiving and all. Your dad is working till 3, and then we're all going to have a thanksgiving lunch!" Her mom exclaimed. "Like always" Her mom added. "Really?" Tori asked, surpirsed. "Yeah, now...the turkey is in the oven, the stuffing is about to go in, potatoes, greenbeans, vegetables..." Her mom turned to the cooker.
Tori looked around at the placements. Three glasses, 3 plates, soup bowls. "Wow, mom you've really gone all out." Tori picked up a napkin as she looked at it. "I know, last year we werent together and well...thanksgiving is a family time." Her mom sighed. "Yeah...." Tori smiled at nodded. "Do you wanna help?" Her mom asked. "Sure, i'll just go get changed then...i'll get the vegetables cut" Tori nodded before heading out the kitchen.

Tori stood chopping carrots, and a variety of vegetables. Her mom stood peeling potatoes as the radio played in the background.
"The weather isnt too bad today" Her mom smiled, looking out the window. "I know, no rain...thats a change" Tori scoffed as she peeled. "Phew! Too warm in here" Her mom then walked to the back door and opened it. Tori turned and smiled, as she remembered back to Michael. "WHat?" Her mom asked smiling walking back to the bowl full of potatoes.
"What? Nothing." Tori shook her head. "You randomly smiled...like a genuine smile" Her mom told her. "No i didnt!" Tori began to laugh. "Yeah you did...look!" Tori's mom pointed with a knife. "Jeez mom!" Tori laughed turning away. "Sorry" Her mom smiled and turned back to the counter. Tori shook her head as she smiled, and began to put the vegetables in a pot.
Just then her phone vibrated and she froze a little. She discreetly took it from her back pocket and unlocked her phone.
Main Bitches! : Group chat.
'HAPPY THANKSGIVING MY LOVE BITCHEZ! '
Hanna wrote on the chat. Tori rolled her eyes and smiled.
'Happy Thanksgiving girls! <3'
Tori wrote back before putting her phone back into her pocket.
"Is that the girls?" Her mom asked. "Yeah, happy thanksgiving" Tori smiled at her mom before putting a knife and chopping board in the sink. She began to wash up as her phone vibrated again. Knowing it was the girls, she didnt really bother to check. It was probably Spencer saying the obvious.
"Hey mom...?" Tori turned to her mom. "Mmm?" Her mom smiled. "Can....i ask you something, quite personal?" Tori blurted out. "Sure...whats wrong sweetie?" Her mom turned to her. "Okay, well...theres this girl in my class...Jennifer" Tori lied. "Oh okay...friend?" Her mom asked. "Kinda..." Tori nodded. Her mom nodded as she smiled. "Well...she was talking to me the other day, and she told me...in confidence and privacy! That...theres this boy. Who doesnt go to our school...she likes him. She think she does, but she hates him" Tori told her.
Standing staring at her with wide eyes, her mom scoffed a little. "She likes, but hates him?" SHe smiled. "Well, they didnt get on. He was a complete asshole apprently, but they've gotten to know each other recently, and she thinks....she's beginning to like him" Tori told her. "Okay, so...whats my help for?" Her mom smiled. "What can she do? Will she tell him? Keep it a secret? Break off all contact...because he still pisses her off from time to time" Tori admitted.
