Monday 8:40am. First day back at school, Senior year.
Tori stood at her locker, taking out her pen and notebook for her first class. She looked around the same corridor, she'd been down more than life time. This year was different though. This year was her senior year, and she was determind nothing and no one were going to stand in her way. It was her turn to rule everything. Catching some people looking at her, she shook it off. Tori wore skinny jeans, with rips in the knee and some rips on her thighs. Her go to converse and a loose fall out shirt with homemade cut out holes in the bottom and around the neck line.
A blue and white flannel over her shirt, and some bracelets on her wrists. Tori usually wore winged liner, and a dark lip colour. She loved expressing her individuality, she loved the grunge style. Her music were very specific too. Looking up into the smallish mirror on her locker door, she spotted three girls looking at her from the opposite side of the corridor. Cheerleaders. They were in her year, they've always had a 'problem' with the way Tori was. Did she care though? No, she could give a shit what people thought of her.
Distracted by a figure standing behind her open locker door, Tori half closed the door to see her best friend Spencer smiling at her. "Hey Spence" Tori smiled at her. "Hello. How was your sunday night?" Spencer asked. Tori looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "Like a boring Sunday, in which im back here the next day" Tori then grinned.
Earning a small laugh from Spencer, Tori smirked at her. "Yeah, I get it. Well do you know whos homeroom your in for this year?" Spencer asked, as she fixed a large folder under her arm. Looking at the folder, then to her shoes and her smart like outfit Tori shook her head. "No...." Tori told her. "Its pinned up on the notice board at the beginning of the corridors." Spencer smiled to her. Shrugging a little Tori sighed. "I'll check soon" She turned to her locker again.
"Good morning senior students" Another voice spoke. Tori turned to see her other best friend Hanna, walking to beside Spencer. "Hey" Tori greeted her. "So, how does it feel to be a senior?" Hanna smiled to them. "Uhm, nothing different yet" Spencer told her. "Mm...so! How is Toby?" Hanna nudged and smirked at Spencer. Toby, was Spencer's boyfriend. Just got together at the beginning of the summer break. He was in the same year as them but was held back a year. He'd just turned 18, but has to pass school before going to college. Some law of school education.
Spencer went a little red as she smiled. "He's doing good. He's on his way in actually" She told the girls. "Yeah, he's with Caleb. He's heading in too" Hanna smiled. Caleb is Hanna's boyfriend, now for a year. They've been a strong couple, but sometimes Hanna can get jealous. "So, have you found out who's homeroom your in?" Spencer then asked Hanna. Tori shook her head as she closed her locker. "Yeah, i'm in Mr MacPhersons room in english. Tori your next door in Mr Fitzgerald's class" Hanna smiled.
Tori turned to the girls. "How do you know?" She asked. "I saw your name, in the list next to mine. So we're just nexr door" Hanna smiled sweetly. "Lucky, bottom floor. Ive got to walk up to the science block every morning" Spencer sighed. "Well, Caleb is in art with Toby...hes just downstairs from ya" Hanna nudged Spencer. Tori shook her head as the bell rang. "See you at break" Spencer smiled as she headed in the opposite direction. Tori looked at Hanna as she smiled.
8:50am.
Hanna and Tori walked to homeroom, and said goodbye as they walked inside. Mr Fitzgerald was actually an okay teacher, he was in his late 20s and a really sweet person. Tori found a seat, two up from the front and sighed as she sat down. Watching people walk in, she figured out who they were. Most of them were people she didnt talk too. Theres a surprise...not. Sighing, Tori opened her notepad. Mr Fitzgerald greeted them as the 'senior class' and how things this year were extra special. Course, like any of the asses would give a shit.
Having their timetables for classes and letters handed out to them, they started reading and discussing what would happen this year. Tori began to write some of her classes and afterschool classes she could take. The ones more interesting to her were creative writing, art, or photography. Maybe, if she could get Mrs Stenson. She was the only 'cool' art teacher.
"Ah, nice for you to join us half an hour late! Mr Clifford and Mr Hood!" Mr Fitzgerald spoke up. Tori looked up to see two boys standing in the doorway, a small smirk on their faces. Perfect, more people she disliked. Michael Clifford, and Calum Hood. Calum, she didnt really associate with him. He was in her P.E class in sophmore year, wanted to be a soccar player...really sporty. Michael, however was different. During junior year, she'd exchanged some conversation with him. Of course, conversation was him being a complete dick and she just sarcatically went a long with it.
Tori watched as Michael and Calum walked up the back of the classroom. Michael looking at everyone, till he finally locked eyes with Tori. Staring back at him, Tori didnt take her eyes off him. A smirk growing on her face, he sat down and turned to face Calum. Michael thought he was everything, yet he couldnt give a shit about school. Tori looked at him, his leather jacket on and his hair dyed. From the summer it had grown out a little more, and his hair was now blonde. A white kind of blonde.
Perfect...being stuck in a room with people she disliked for a whole year. Like every year of school. She couldnt care less, this was her year and she was going to live it how she wanted it!
