Hey- Are You Free

                  The Sun's rays peeked through the curtain and rested on Emma's face as her eyes slowly opened and she sat up.

Glancing to the bedside table she noticed her alarm didn't ring as she caught a glimpse of the time.

She gasped, quickly getting out of bed.

"I can't afford to be late."

Not long after she was ready for class. Coming out of her room she bumped into Natasha who wore a surprised look on her face.

"Where are you going this early morning?"

"Class of course." Emma replied in a haste trying to put on her sneakers.

"I'm going to be late if I don't leave now."

"Ok... But why?" Natasha asked throwing some popcorn into her mouth from the bowl she was holding.

"You do know today is Saturday. Right?"

Emma froze in her tracks.

"What? Oh. Really?"

She straightened up after successfully putting on her sneakers.

"And here I was thinking it was Friday." She began to slowly remove her bag.

"So that means I got ready for nothing?" She groaned inwardly.

Holding the door knob to enter her room, she got a message notification. It was from Oliver.

"Will you be free today Emma?"

"Yeah why?" She replied.

"I want to take you somewhere. I think this would really help out with this project."

"Ok I'll text Ryan and Eden." She offered.

"No need for that." He was quick to turn it down.

"They must be busy today I think. Eden with fashion shoots and Ryan with other company stuffs. I'm sure the two of us would be plenty enough."

"Ok. Where should I meet you?" Emma asked.

"No need for that. Just get ready. I'll come get you.
FYI:The place we're going to is just a little bit fancy. Thought I should let you know. Just in case you might wanna dress up or you know, something."

Emma stood in front of her door all the while. Just texting. She was so immersed that she didn't hear when Natasha called.

"Did you hear me?" Natasha sounded once again.

"Hmmm..." Emma turned, her mind obviously occupied by something else. "What was that?"

"What's got you in the clouds? I asked what you were doing standing in front of your door like that."

"Sorry. I was just texting a partner on the project. He wants to meet up." She explained.

Natasha smiled softly.

"That's ok. Just don't overdo it and stress yourself. Always remember, health comes first ok? That's exactly why I'm here right now, eating popcorn and watching a movie."

She got up to go get some juice from the fridge.

"I wanted you to watch this movie with me but since you're busy, you better get to it."

"Will do. I just have to change and then I'll be off." Emma said entering her room.

5 minutes later, she came out wearing an ocean blue floral dress that stopped slightly above her knees and moderately high-heeled shoes.

Holding her phone in her hand, her shoulder was decorated by a small, checkered, Chanel purse and her hair was placed in a ponytail position by her favourite blue scrunchie.

"Done. So how do I look?" Emma twirled for Natasha to see.

"Absolutely Stunning. Quite fancy for a project-related meeting if I might add." Natasha responded before returning to her movie.

"Make sure to have a little fun and go around a bit before you return ok?"

"Will do." Emma replied walking out the door.

"Will do."

I had so much going on that I didn't really have time to write.
